Ragazzi ,mi è capitato un GT con il chip dello switch bruciato , quindi sono stato costretto a dissaldarlo perché assorbiva in modo anomalo e scaldava da paura

pensavo di farlo funzionare solo via WiFi, ma non viene attivata , il led rimane spento

la scheda confermo che è 100% ok , provata su un altro GT

ne è capitato uno con lo switch ethernet bruciato pure a me.
bovirus ha fatto di tutto per resuscitarlo ma c'è poco da fare,a patto che non si sostituisca il chip

Allora... stamattina dopo un aggiornamento dell'ultimo firmware via LAN di dgteam per il router DG834Gv4, ecco la sorpresa! Power led verde, e solo lui acceso! Non va nulla di nulla!

Ho provato di tutto e per fortuna che ho un portatile anche con XP su:

- Recovery Utility Netgear (l'interfaccia è rovinata e la "device list" è sempre vuota)
- TFTP di Windows (non pinga il router)
- TFTP2 (il router non risponde)

L'ip è sempre il 192.168.0.1, giusto? Come quando "andava" no?

Mi resta da provare il JTAG: problema.... dove la connetto io una parallela????

Ci sono versioni USB per comunicare? Dove le trovo?

Ah beh, se avete altre soluzioni, perchè avviando il router tenendo premuto reset poi il led diventa lampeggiante verde/rosso che se non sbaglio è la modalità IDLE per il firmware.

Non capisco perchè non venga riconosciuto... se fosse andato del tutto non credo sentirebbe nemmeno lo stimolo dell'avvio con il reset premuto o lo stato di IDLE no? O si?

Consigli? Prendo un Linksys WAG320N e vivo felice a 300mbits?

Se ti entra in idle lo recuperi, devi solo trovare il modo giusto.

da Virtualbox o Vmware Workstation non riesci ad usare i tool della jtag ma solo da fisico.

Per quanto riguarda l'utiity nftp devi provare non ho mai testato il funzionamento da virtuale.
