Qualcuno di voi ha un laptop con Intel 945?
Ciao a tutti, qualcuno di voi possiede un laptop con chipset grafico intel 945 ed è riuscito ad abilitare il 3d?

ma essendo una intel integrata non dovrebbe essere supportata di default dai driver liberi del kernel?
controlla se è gia presente l'accellerazione con il comando glxinfo | grep rendering, se ti risponde yes come credo è gia abilitata |

si grazie.
il problema è che nel tuo file di xorg si vede che hai installati sul tuo os i driver mesa per la intel 945...forse arch lo fa di default. io con kubuntu non ci sono riuscito. c'è gia' ma il 3d non va comunque. grazie per la disponibilita' ![]()

Ho un notebook con GMA950, e qualsiasi distro ci avessi messo sopra nei primi giorni (avevo ancora il mio vecchio, e mi divertivo a provare), fosse essa etch, slackware-current, arch, fedora 6, ubuntu, o che altro, il direct rendering era attivo da subito senza alcuna esitazione.
Infatti mi risulta che il supporto 3d sia stato sviluppato dalla stessa Intel, e che sia incluso nel kernel da un bel po'.

Senti fai una bella cosa: posta il contenuto del file /var/log/Xorg.0.log (non ho capito che distro usi, il percorso è per Ubuntu e spero sia los tesso per te)così vediamo l'errore che non fa abilitare il direct rendering
Magari per dare una occhiata al volo basta anche un cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep EE almeno di solito faccio così quando voglio capire perchè il server X è a $donne_di_facili_costumi ![]()
