Ho trovato un hg8010h con porta orizzontale in vendita vicino casa, domani vado a prenderlo e vedo di configurarlo. Non ho capito però come funziona il discorso dell'aggiornamento firmware, una volta connesso all'olt si pesca in automatico l'aggiornamento se disponibile?

Cambiato il seriale seguendo la guida della pagina precedente e la linea è tornata a pieno regime, in realtà anche meglio come download rispetto allo zyxel sfp

Siccome leggevo di esperienze simili alle nostre anche nel thread di TIM mi viene da pensare che gli OLT Huawei siano un tantino schizzinosi con ONT e mini ONT SFP di altri vendor.
E' ormai evidente che con WindTre, su OLT Huawei (che rappresentano la larga maggioranza), le migliori prestazioni si ottengano con gli ONT omologhi della serie HG/EG. |

salve a tutti
![]() ho da circa un anno e mezzo la FTTH W3... mi hanno installato la borchia a muro e fornito il modulo SFP da appiccicare al terribile router Zyxel, e fin qui tutto relativamente ok. Le prestazioni sono così così (via cavo raggiungo i 600 in download e in up circa 100) ma fino ad oggi mi sono accontentato. dato che sono in procinto di ristrutturare leggermente alcuni ambienti in casa, volevo approfittarne per buttare nel bidone dell'umido il router e sostituirlo con qualcosa di più prestazionale.. se ho capito bene le possibilità sono due: - prendere un ONT esterno e un router qualsiasi - prendere un media converter e un router qualsiasi (oppure un router compatibile con il modulo SFP ma ho il vago timore che andrei a infilarmi in un ginepraio di problemi, quindi vorrei evitare ) corretto ? ![]() |

Se sei servito da apparati Huawei, la soluzione migliore è usare l'Ont Huawei.
Tutte le altre soluzioni sono ripieghi. Parlo ovviamente della Ftth ad 1 Gbps, quella a 2,5 Gbps è tuttora un mistero. |

Buongiorno, io ho una ftth in area bianca, con Absolute W3, da circa un mese. Mi hanno montato un Ont esterno ZTE mod. ZXHN F6005 e, come router uso un Windtre Hub Zte mod ZXHN H389X che ho acquistato a pochi euro. Non so a che tipo di Olt sono connesso e i risultati degli speedtest sono molto variabili nell'arco della giornata e ho l'impressione che nei momenti in cui ci sono eventi sportivi particolari, calcio essenzialmente, le velocità in download si abbassino notevolmente anche a livello di 10/20 Mb/s.

Per averne la certezza ci si può collegare al modulo SFP via SSH e inviare i comandi che mostrano anche l'OLT vendor ID. Se hai lo ZYXEL PMG3000 un tentativo lo puoi fare, i comandi sono : omci e poi show me classid 131. Considera però che non sempre viene mostrato l'ID corretto. A me restituisce 4 spazi ad esempio, immagino dipenda dalle versioni hw/sw degli OLT. Alla fine mi sono procurato un SFP Technicolor per togliermi questo dubbio. Quote:

Nelle aree bianche credo di si, Open Fiber li ha scelti anche perchè i loro OLT sono ZTE. Comunque escluderei che sia l'ONT a diminuirti la banda durante gli eventi sportivi di cartello, è decisamente più probabile che dipenda da saturazione.

Ciao, ho provato a cercare in giro ma non ho trovato nulla che mi chiarisse i dubbi:
la domanda è, per chi ha la nuova linea in fibra della windtre a 2,5Ghz le 4 porte rj45 dietro al nuovo modem wi-fi 6 che danno in dotazione a quanto vanno? perché se sono ancora a 1Ghz che senso ha cambiare per chi ha il pc collegato in rete al modem e ha una porta sul pc a 2,5Ghz? Grazie ![]()

Ciao a tutti, qualcuno della sicilia mi può dire come va l'FTTH su fibra pura Wind? Il prezzo è allettante, notoriamente ha latenze basse... ma un pessimo supporto. Una persona che conosco aveva FTTC e spesso era down, ma credo per il rame marcio...
l'FTTH in questi forum ho letto che non va tanto bene... mi potete smentire o confermare? Mi interessa per latenza e download, unica pecca teorica è l'upload, sarebbe stato meglio 1GBps. Non può essere :'(
