chiedo un piccolo aiutino per un problemino di upgrade
Ciao a tutti, purtroppo sono nuovo e un pò disorientato, volevo chiedere se é possibile come posso aggiornale la mia cpu, illustro il quesito:
ho un computer un pò vecchiotto, con un proc. Amd Duron 1200 MHz , Mainboard Sis 730 rev.S (con lan video e audio integrato) , 2x256 banchi di sdram pc 133 Volevo sapere se era possibile passare la cpu a un Amd Athlon 1800Mhz tramite aggiornamento del Bios o della cpu. Se qualcuno riesce a darmi qualche informazione! Ringrazio per tempo! Alessandro

Ti consiglio VIVAMENTE di cambiare la scheda madre per utilizzare un Athlon 1800mhz

Most likely,it is possible to upgrade from the Duron 1.2Ghz to the Athlon 1.8Ghz. Both use the Socket-A configuration and both are compatible with the Sis 730 Chipset. You may not even need a BIOS update. However, the gain in performance is questionable at best! I am NOT an AMD fan, I only prefer Intel Microprocessors!
