Ciao a tutti, sono (ero) un fortunato possessore di notebook HP zd8308ea con scheda video ATI mobility radeon X600. Da circa 10 giorni sto impazzendo nel tentativo di utilizzare di nuovo il pc al pieno delle potenzialità. In pratica, mi è capitato che di colpo il sistema andasse in crash con la classica schermata blu ed il messaggio relativo al file ati2dvag ed il suo loop. Da quel momento ho provato di tutto: rimozione totale e reinstallazione dei driver dal sito HP (driver M24 aggiornati al 2006...), aggiornamento bios di sistema, utilizzo di driver omega, utilizzo di driver moddati catalyst ma niente da fare. Ho anche provato a reinstallare TUTTO il sistema operativo dopo un format dell'HD ma il problema si presenta ancora. In questo momento, posso far funzionare il notebook solo in modalità VGA oppure forzando il caricamento di un driver video generico. La cosa che mi lascia un pò perplesso, è che se decido di attivare la scheda video ATI, questa funziona finchè non provo a cambiare risoluzione o refresh. Ho anche notato che alcuni componenti di sistema vengono adesso riconosciuti in modo differente dal windows, e credo che in qualche modo possa essere parte del problema. Difatti, di tanto in tanto, il messaggio di errore è stato relativo ad una "incongruenza nel driver del bus PCI". Allego qui uno screen del sistema dove si possono vedere le "nuove" componenti (in pratica tutte quelle con l'indicazione di Intel R e chipset 915) sperando che qualcuno mi possa dare una mano.

Scusami, non sono stato abbastanza chiaro.
Provo a schematizzare:
- la scheda video è divenuta improvvisamente un problema
- non sono riuscito a fare nulla per farla funzionare nuovamente (driver moddati, update del bios della MoBo ecc...)
- ho reinstallato da zero Windows Xp home e MI SEMBRA che le componenti di sistema siano riconosciute in maniera differente (con nomi differenti, in pratica) rispetto a quando il notebook funzionava regolarmente

Purtroppo non ho sufficiente capacità per capire se questa sia un'impressione giusta e, in questo caso, come operare per riportare il tutto "a posto".... posso sempre lanciare il notebook dal secondo piano....
