Evil3D ha pubblicato una serie di benchmarks della nuova release 0.9.6 dei drivers Nvidia Detonator per Linux, confrontandoli con la precedente release 0.9.5. Dai grafici si può notare chiaramente un forte decremento prestazionale con la nuova release, specialmente alle alte risoluzioni; trovate l'articolo a questo indirizzo

Due to the results thus far we have decided to withhold publishing a bottom line statement on this driver build. We are now doing further testing on alternative systems and conferring with Nvidia concerning the issues that have shown themselves. Please stay tuned for further test results.

That said, if you have had massive problems getting older drivers to install you may want to give these a go as they did install nicely and they did run well if slowly. We have also not gotten to the TwiNView testing as yet so we don't have any comments specific to that feature.
