Effettivamente nel sito che vi ho riportato nn solo c'è il bus di dati di scheda video ma anche la quantità di ram..Se leggete bene la legenda ve ne accorgerete..Cmq che mi vogliate torturare o no resta il fatto che i pregiudizi verso una cosa che nessuno ancora ha provato credo che nel nostra passione NON DEVE ASSOLUTAMENTE ESISTERE,perchè è concesso sbagliarsi ed è concesso SORPRENDERE,o mi sbaglio?

Le memorie della mia 9700 pro sono samsung..

Numero DUE consco bene quale è la risoluzione standard del benchmark
3d mark 2003 ( cioè 1024x768 a 32 bit ) ma nel mio caso,poichè ho uno schermo di merda non era possibile eseguirli..
Per installare gli OMEGa basta eseguire il prog. di installazione e poi vedere come si installano,eventualmente,come è successo a me,bisogna installarli manualmente..

a me dice che i driver non supportano la mia scheda e quindi non si può fare niente... mi sembra strano...

Scusami nn avevo letto la sign..sto testando un PC anzianotto e mi sta distruggendo la domenica..Cmq mi meraviglio,anche perckè io la 9700 pro e nn avuto problemi..Invece con la Geforce li ho avuti problemi,li ho dovuti installare manualmente..
Cmq se hai voglia fatti un giro nel sito degli omega e vedi se c'è qualke risposta,oppure prova ad installarli manualmente e vedi se vanno..tanto se nn vanno al boot di winXP premi F8 scegli la modalità vga e ripristina i driver che avevi..Sempre se hai voglia!!

Significa che vai in proprietà del PC,sistema,gestione periferiche e scegli la scheda video,poi driver dalla linguetta in alto e clikka su aggiorna driver..poi selezioni installa manualmente e dai l'indirizzo dove sono scompattati i driver da aggiornare..

Ah ho capito... purtroppo quel metodo l'ho già provato e non ha portato a risultati...
onestamente ho paura anche a provare a "flashare " il bios in quanto mi sembra inutile a questo punto...
evidentemente la mia non è una scheda fortunata...

Infatti lascia stare..Nn è cosa flashare il bios..Vedi l'ultima versione dei OMEGA ,nn so se hai i 2.44.03 o gli ultimi che sono usciti ieri o l'altro ieri..
Io ho i penultimi e sono andati bene
Cmq ci sono anche i neutral catalyst che nn sono male..Purtroppo li proverò nei prox giorni,quindi nn ti so dire come sono,ma puoi tentare con quelli..Link:

potevi specificare prima la risoluzione adottata al 3d merd visto che sapevi quale fosse lo standard.

il tuo punteggio non è niente di speciale anzi con omega basati su cat 3.2 e 9700 pro @400/380 faccio 5250
la mia ha 128 Mega

nessuno vuole torturarti ci mancherebbe ... il fatto che certe affermazioni approssimative e formulate con superficialità e senza allegare screenshot e prive di fondamento si pagano con qualche sghignazzo.
Kuindi non ti offendere se qualcuno critica le notizie sballate che hai cantato ai quattro venti pensando di avere scoperto l'america.

piuttosto fornisci delle informazioni precise sul tuo tipo di scheda con questi fantomatici 256 mega

Questi nuovi sono una bomba! Dal punto di vista delle performance sembrano simile, o leggermente inferiori, ai catalyst 3.5...
ma la qualità grafica mi sembra ancora una volta superiore: colori più realistici, naturali, soffici e non "artificiali", in più mi dà l'impressione che l'AA sia leggermente migliore... suggestione???

Nn è suggestione..GLI omega Vanno bene,colori e animazioni veramente allucinanti..
Penso che alla fine nn è che ci voglia molto a fare un buon driver..Fose quello ke manca a volte ai programmatori è la VOLONTA' di fare adeguati driver per le schede video..E noi invece che ci torturiamo a installare e disinstallare driver nuovi,o varianti,o driver beta..
Mah...Poveri Noi..Però quando c'è la passione..
Rispondendo a voi ,miei compagni informatici,non mi sono per niente offeso,ma magari ho avuto qualke problema o ero semplicemente distratto nell'omettere le risoluzioni che ho usato nei test..Ma ero così pieno di voglia di dirvi che avevo risolto in parte un mio grande problema VIDEO che avevo (alla fine nn erano i driver) installando gli OMEGA,e nn credevo affatto di aver scoperto l'AMERICA..Anzi se proprio vi interessa ,mi sono stati rivelati proprio da uno di voi,in pvt l'esistenza...E poi nn sono sul mio pc ,mi collego da un'altro,quindi nn posso per il momento postare nessun report..La mia "fantomatica scheda" come viene definita, esiste e qui riporto il link..E' della ditta CAPTIVA

ho provato ad installarli senza disinstallare i catalyst e l' errore non me l' ha dato ora sono installati e non noto grosse differenze ma... qual' è la procedura giusta per installarli? è la stessa dei driver ati?

Guarda dovrebbe essere la stessa procedura degli ATI..Cmq provali magari giocando con risoluzioni alte,e vedi se i tweak presenti negli OMEGA sono attivati..
Può darsi ke il tuo sistema andava meglio con i catalyst..Alla fine gli OMEGa sono driver ottimizzati con tweak incorporate..Una grande differenza nella Qualità sia nelle ATI ke nelle NVIDIA..fai qualke benchmark e vedi se i punteggi aumentano o diminuiscono..

Per quanto mi riguarda questo step è eccellente oltre ad una migliore qualità visiva rispetto agli omega basati sui 3.4 ho anche incrementato di 100 punti il 3DMark 2003, per quanto riguarda i giochi zero problemi e fluidità da paura.

Well, as most of you have heard by now, I will not be releasing any more Omega drivers for nvidia cards. I know this must come as a surprise for many since there are a lot of people who trust my work and know that I'm doing all of this to help people. This is what REALLY happened:
I received an E-Mail from nvidia on June 17, it was from one of their attorneys, and he wanted to speak with me personally on the phone. The mail seemed friendly, but since it was coming from the nvidia law offices, I was worried of some kind of lawsuit because of my work. I called him after reading the mail, and he greeted me in a friendly tone, so my nerves started to calm down as soon as he told me that he only wanted to ask me a few questions. He started by telling me that many people filled complaints at nvidia because my drivers where "damaging" PCs and that people thought my drivers where approved by them since I had the nvidia logo on my page, so I corrected him and told him that I have a very clear statement on my page and in the driver installation that warned users about the drivers, that they where not supported by nvidia in any way and in case of problems contact me directly or through the forums. Then he told me that what I was doing was illegal, that I can't reverse engineer their drivers, because it was in the license agreement, so I explained to him that I never did that, that I use registry tweaks and dll swaps to make the drivers work like I wanted, then I used settings and patch scripts that are freely available in tweakers like RivaTuner, plus I add some others that are of my own creation, like the custom resolutions and DirectX optimizations, and at the end I just packed all that work in one simple installer and distributed it freely on the internet. After my explanation the only thing he had against me was the nvidia logo on my page, so he told me that I must remove it immediately because people would get confused an think that my drivers are official nvidia drivers, so I told him that there is no problem, the logo will go. He thanks me and asks my phone number because they will be contacting me again, so I gave him my number and thank him for his time.
After that I removed the logo and didn't heard from them again, I was gonna continue to make the drivers, but had my doubts...

Then, just a few days ago, I got an E-Mail from Zardon telling me that nvidia E-Mailed him about my drivers, and told him to REMOVE THE DRIVERS FROM DRIVERHEAVEN...
Now that does it! One thing is contacting me about my drivers and asking me to stop working on them, another is to force websites to take down the drivers which they host as a favor to the community.
Right now I'm really pissed of at nvidia for that thing alone, first the cheats, then buying Futuremark's statement and now, Take down 3rd party sets that help them by making their customers happy? What's wrong with them!? They think money can buy anything?
They are in the wrong track, they just want to cover all that bad press that they have been receiving lately by buying trust, but TRUST is not something they can buy, is something they must EARN! Gamers know that, they are no fools, maybe they can convince some old guy sitting in a president chair about it, showing him big numbers in synthetic benchmarks and showing their financial year gains, but they can't fool US:

WE are the ones that buy their cards.
WE are the ones that play the games.
WE are the ones that support each other in forums when something goes wrong.
WE are the ones that make their hardware reviews.
WE are the ones that they should listen.
WE are the ONLY ones, that can make a difference...
