Intanto per poter caricare l'immagine sopra ho dovuto disabilitarli perché non mi faceva uppare l'immagine, perché sul sito di upload usciva il popup di verifica, ma senza contenuto che veniva bloccato.

Ho appena riprovato ... e Ti confermo che se abiliti quelle opzioni non riesci ad uploadare nemmeno una immagine, rimuove le istruzioni del grafico di controllo anti spam

Buongiorno ragazzi,vi chiedo gentilmente una mano:sto diventando matto!
Ero felice possessore da meno di un mese di questo router,poi sono passato da ADSL Fastweb a Vodafone fibra e mi è arrivata in casa la VODAFONE STATION REVOLUTION
Ebbene,non riesco a connettere i dispositivi tramite le due porte WAN!
Ho provato ad impostare così:

Vodafone Station:
Ip 192.168.1.1
Subnet 255.255.255.0

Router Asus
Ip WAN 192.168.1.2 (ho provato anche 192.168.1.20)
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Dns 1: 192.168.1.1 ( ho anche provato ad inserire i DNS Vodafone direttamente nel router)
Ip LAN 192.168.2.1
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gli altri campi lan li ho lasciati vuoti.

Qualcuno sa dirmi dove sbaglio??dovrei inserire anche HOST e MAC address?

Che poi mi piacerebbe sapere come mai ASUS dalla pagina principale della sezione router abbia tolto l'87U in favore del 68U:

Ciao, vi scrivo per un aiuto, sto passando a NGi eolo e mi serve un router con ottima copertura sulla rete N, della rete ac non mi interessa molto poichè non la uso.

Prima avevo un tplink d7, ma ne cerco uno con maggiore portata wireless, questo e migliore? e in confronto a un N55u?

..ha troppi problemi di stabilità l'87U .. ed è il motivo per il quale io lo restituii e ripiegai sul 68U.
Anche quest'ultimo soffre un po' delle features aggiuntive, ma quanto meno, nelle funzioni base è un po' più stabile e rodato del "nuovo mostricciattolo" che invece rischia di essere archiviato presto e sostituito con altro modello e altro chip.

Insomma l'87U non è piaciuto e non è decollato a distanza di più di un anno che è sul mercato.

stanno lavorando alla 378.54... stanno sistemando principalmente la OpenVPN... praticamente nulla di che:


NEW:
- Merged with Asus GPL 378_5134 (from AC87)
- OpenVPN policy rules can now be set to route matching traffic through either the tunnel, or to your ISP (allowing you to create exceptions to your tunnelling rules).

CHANGED:
- Upgraded OpenSSL to 1.0.2a, adding new tls ciphers to OpenVPN and the https webui.
- Updated miniupnpd to 1.9.20150430.

FIXED:
- Router DNS weren't reverted to their original values when shutting down an OpenVPN client with "explicit-exit-notify" enabled. Now we manually clean it up.
- Asuswrt-Merlin Changelog still not be cleaned up after an unexpected shutdown however. Ideally, users should try avoiding using this setting when possible.
- Some legitimate VPN packets could get dropped due to their conntrack state. Now, only INVALID packets coming from the WAN interface are dropped.

Io ho preso il netgear R8000 e l'ho messo in funzione ieri...
Devo ancora testarlo e configurarlo in modo più approfondito, ma promette molto bene...
Per il momento gli ho collegato un dlink dsl-320b ed ha funzionato al primo colpo sia la connessione che la wi-fi..
In merito a quest'ultima non ho impostato nessun parametro però pensavo che fosse più "forte" rispetto al mio vecchissimo router..

ciao, anche io ho il tuo stesso interrogativo.
Sono in attesa di una 20 mega e mi serve un router serio per far gestire i vari apparati di casa, quello che mi preme molto è il qos, giocando online ora con un rt-n16 sono riuscito a settarlo veramente bene con firmware alternativi(tomato).

il 68 e l'87 sono due pretendenti ma più leggo, soprattutto nei forum stranieri, qua in ita c'è molto poco a parte questo trhead, e tutti consigliano il Netgear R7000, che è in pratica un ac68 ma con cpù più potente, l'ac87 lo sconsigliano per via di numerosi bug e del fatto che abbia un quad antenna che sembra avere problemi oltre che superato dall'ac3200 sempre asus.

Ad ora sarei orientato per l' R7000 dietro al quale c'è una enorme community dietro di firmware alternativi e di sviluppo, però gli asus mi intrigavano per il qos adattivo e le varie utility Trend Micro che non possono essere installare su firmware di terze parti.

Continuo nella ricerca di nuovi elementi che possano aiutarmi nella scelta ma ora come ora sarei un 60% Netgear e 40% asus (68-87-3200?).

Attualmente tra i vari router in commercio, dopo avendone provati diversi e di varie marche... il meno peggio (quindi non il migliore, perché attualmente di migliori non ce ne sono) ritengo che sia l'ASUS RT-AC68U .. è quello più rodato e che funziona meglio.

Non è ancora esente da bug... ma rispetto agli altri ne ha di meno, è il più affidabile e soprattutto è il più stabile (cosa fondamentale per un router).

Questa la mia opinione e suggerimento allo stato attuale.
