This are my "optimized" drivers for the ATI Radeon family of video cards.

What's New? (2k/XP 2.5.30)
* Based on the Official Catalyst 4.3 drivers.
* Updated the Omega version of RadLinker. Many thanks to ChrisW!
* Now that the FW issue seems to have been solved for 9600 cards, forced
Fastwrites OFF for ALL cards.
* Fixed installation issue for FireGL cards.
* Added support for Mobility 9700.
* Updated the Omega logo in the options screen.

Important Notes:
1. If you are using an Omega soft-mod and you are experiencing crashes, black screens,
artifacts or the "check board effect" during gameplay, re install the drivers using
the normal option, the reason is your card is not accepting the soft-mod due to
broken/incompatible hardware.

REMINDERS:
1- If you have the normal ATI drivers installed, uninstall the ATI Control Panel
BEFORE upgrading to these drivers, the Omega Drivers already have the CP integrated
and another CP will cause conflicts or other problems.

2- There is no need to uninstall ANY previous drivers (ATI or OMEGA) when
installing these, they will override any previous settings.

3- In Windows 2k/XP, ALWAYS disable DDC in the ATI "Displays/Monitor" CP after
installing drivers to be able to use ALL the refresh rates and resolutions
your monitor supports, also this is the best way to avoid the 60Hz RR bug.

4- The WDM drivers for VIVO and AIW cards are not included, but they can be
downloaded separately from a link in my drivers page.

5- The Radeon cards do support FastWrites and they will work with it on
(on some machines), but it is not recommended, there is NO SPEED gain
when using FW, and this option will affect your PC's stability a LOT,
most game crashes and problems are because FW is enabled.

I don't recomend the use of ANY external tweakers with my drivers (specially Rage3D
tweaker), as they override my special settings and will make my work useless. The only
time I recommend a tweaker is when you have a specific problem with a specific tweak
and need to change it in order to make the drivers work correctly. Also if you use
a tweaker for overclocking, FSAA, Gamma or Aniso settings, is just fine, but you'll
be better off using the integrated ATI CP for that (which is ok by me if you change
any setting in it).

If you have any problems with this drivers please go to my webpage
and look in the ATI help section for answers. If still have problems
look for the drivers thread in www.driverheaven.net forums and

let me know
what is going on.

If you happen to find a new tweak or fix for a specific game or many games
and it proves that it works then drop me an E-Mail (don't post it in the
forums), I'll make sure credit will be granted to that person in this INFO file.

IMPORTANT: Don't bother ATI about this drivers as they are unsupported by them!

Oddio raven mi credi così scemo???

In questi giorni devo formattare perchè ho presu un disco nuovo e voglio metterci il S.O. lì, mentre il disco vecchio lo destinerò ai dati...
Così, visto che gli OMEGA dovevano uscire a giorni ho aspettato per installare gli ultimi driver, non che abbia aspettato tanto, il disco l'ho preso giovedì!!!

Ciao ragazzi, mi sapreste dire PRO e CONTRO dei driver OMEGA rispetto agli ATI

attualmente ho i cata 3.10 eimho vanno bene, ma vorrei passare ai 4.3 per avere la segnalazione della temperatura visto che la mia scheda ha il sensore di temp

Provati con la mia fida Radeon 7500 64ddr... addirittura dai 38 ai 55 fps con Unreal 2004 giocato a 1024*768 senza effetti con le texture medie...

non è niente, uno che conosco gli si è rotta la ventola sopra il procio (p4 x foruna) e quando l'ha cambiata mi chiama e mi chiede: ecco sono andato a prendere la nuova ventola e l'ho messa, adesso devo formattare?

Messi gli Omega 4.3... tutto bene... un passo avanti dai 4.2

Qualcuno mi spiega però perchè il FastWrite non viene + segnato selezionabile nel pannello drivers?
Non si può far fare il test e lui segna OFF...
Da bios ecc... è abilitato... anche perchè guardando in firma... la 9600xt si dice che sia + stabile con...

Me l'hanno disabilitato di loro scelta?

io faccio l'installazione ..nn è che si può scegliere quando installi ^_^! fai sempre "AVANTI" e "OK" e li installa nn sò mica come li installa!

ma sti omega hanno dato una botta di vita alla mia Radeon 7500 64ddr urka (per la mia modesta scheda son risultati notevoli)

la compressione in jpg nn è chissà che ma Fraps mi dà quel frame (quando son in ambienti normali...nn tipo vallate enormi..con 4 o 5 personaggi..perchè lì il frame scende a 25 circa se và bien)
