ho provato a fare dal control center scan system now ma quasi alla fine quando mi doveva fare il risultato mi è apparso un errore tipo no possible finire scan system per ecc.... è normale o è un bug della versione 9?

clicco sull exe del 9, si disinstalla l 8, si riavvia...e crasha di brutto

ho dovuto staccale la corrente, riaccenderlo e installare il 9

speriamo non ci siano problemi..

1) Avira 9 si puo' installare direttamente sulla 8 o eventualmente per sicurezza cancellate quest'ultima o tramite revouninstaller oppure tramite l'uninstaller fornito da avira stessa sul suo sito. Al momento io sto usando ancora la 8 per far calmare gli animi

e per maggior chiarimenti, se si torna indietro anche di un paio di pagine di questo thread ci son tutte le possibili risposte e varianti all'installazione della 9;
2) Per ora avira 9 e' in inglese, probabilmente sara' tradotta in italiano in aprile ma forse non la versione free;
3) Per scaricare l'ultima versione di avira, basta andare sul sito di avira

Personalmente cerco sempre di evitare scaricamenti di terze parti.... ;

ho appena deciso di passare da kaspersky ad avira,versione free,ma mi è rimasto un dubbio:essendo solo antivirus,non blocca nessun attacco dalla rete e non è neppure in grado di capire se durante l'installazione di un programma da internet scarico un virus,vero?grazie!

Avira antivirus non ha il FW quindi ovvio un attacco alla tua rete non viene evidenziato, per quello serve un FW buono (e la suite di avira in questo pecca non essendo un FW all'altezza) però se scarichi un virus e vai a installarlo se settato decentemente avira col suo guard ti avverte, ovvio se quel irus lo ha nel suo DataBase, se fosse un virus sconosciuto in quel caso non ti segnalerebbe nulla, per questo servono altri mezzi di difesa come un Hips (firewall validissimi come Comodo CIS e Online Armor lo hanno incluso) o un prevx Edge ad esempio

Ciao ragazzi, preferisco avviare il sistema operativo con Avira e i relativi servizi disabilitati, avviando tutto in un sol colpo quando lo ritengo opportuno.

Leggendo QUI sul blog di sviluppo, è stata migliorata la "kill protection" per i processi dell'antivirus, vorrei quindi sapere se è possibile caricarlo all'avvio di Windows con la protezione in tempo reale disattivata.

Mmhhh.... penso che 3 mega siano al primo aggiornamento, gli altri saranno piu' piccolini.... Nella schermata scheduler hai impostato per fare aggiornamenti ogni tot di ore? Altrimenti penso che se ne faccia uno al giorno saranno abbastanza grossi ma non mai 3 mega

Leggendo QUI sul blog di sviluppo, è stata migliorata la "kill protection" per i processi dell'antivirus, vorrei quindi sapere se è possibile caricarlo all'avvio di Windows con la protezione in tempo reale disattivata.
