Disattivare RAM integrata ? (guasta! :()
Salve a tutti, ho per mano un portatile che da evidenti problemi di stabilità della memoria oltre che non passare il memtest (il famoso memtest86...), noto pero' che il portatile ha la RAM di serie integrata nella scheda madre, volendo/potendo montare una sodimm nuova aggiuntiva nel socket vuoto posso disattivare in qualche modo quella integrata guasta ?
Il portatile è un Toshiba Satellite A60-712 Grazie!

se non ci sono speranze io taglierei fisicamente i chip dalla scheda, non voglio responsabilità però...
può essere una soluzione kamikaze, ma piuttosto che inusabile io tenterei... rotto per rotto... edit: c'è un programma, non mi ricordo il nome... alcuni lo usano per il tweak di ram o altro... in pratica tramite cambiamanti delle istruzioni binarie, è possibile riscrivere le istruzioni del chipset. io avevo provato a usarlo per cambiare i timings della ram sul mio vecchio notebook, agisci slot per slot quindi al primo slot disponibile dovresti trovare (come succedeva a me) la ram integrata... mi pareva fosse possibile escluderla, disattivarla... se fosse possibile, saresti proprio a cavallo
