"Arriva un nuovo annuncio da parte di Square Enix. Più precisamente la casa produttrice ha confermato come dovrebbe essere il ventisette maggio la data per l’uscita europea dell’action-RPG Dungeon Siege III sviluppato da Obsidian. Il nuovo titolo sarà disponibile per PS3, Xbox 360 e PC sia in edizione standard che limitata. Square Enix ha rilasciato alcune informazioni riguardo al titolo, più precisamente che nel gioco i giocatori potranno assumere il ruolo di uno dei quattro legionari durante lo sgretolamento del regno di Ehb, portando avanti una battaglia per il bene dei loro compagni. Da rilevare come le decisioni dei videogiocatori saranno decisive per l’evolversi del gioco e avranno un effetto duraturo all’interno di tutto il titolo, determinandone l’esito." Link

1294 PFPresent day. The Venerable Odo - rumored to be the last survivor of the old Legion - calls a gathering of Legion descendants in the north, in an effort to rebuild the Legion and take back the kingdom of Ehb...

1289 PFGlacern is sacked and destroyed, and King Roland is slain. His "Tumbledown Court" withdraws to Glitterdelve Mine. Roland's young daughter, Roslyn, is crowned Queen.

1286 PFAfter a decade of construction, a new Church stronghold is completed, on the summit of Mt. Jhereb. It is named the Spire of Azunai. Jeyne Kassynder relocates her capital to the Spire.

1266 PFJeyne Kassynder becomes de facto leader of the Azunite Church and begins to assert control over eastern Ehb. War erupts between the sons of King Hendrick (Roland and Nedderic) and Jeyne. The royal family withdraws to Glacern, in western Ehb. The kingdom of Ehb collapses.

The Meisters rise to power in Stonebridge, following the Tomcat Rebellion. They declare Stonebridge to be a free and independent republic. The Dapper Gent - a notorious thief and crime lord - makes his first appearance in the city.

1265 PFFall of the 10th Legion. The young and charismatic Jeyne Kassynder calls a crusade against the Legion, naming them murderers and kingslayers. Thousands of people rise up to sack the Legion's chapterhouses and slaughter the legionnaires in the streets. Grand Master Hugh Montbarron makes a final stand in the Rukkenvahl, but he and his legionnaires are slain by Jeyne Kassynder.

1264 PFKing Hendrick begins to seize Legion properties, and rumors suggest that the paranoid king may be plotting to dissolve the Legion altogether. Then Hendrick is found dead, under questionable circumstances. The Legion is blamed for his murder.

1245 PFBirth of Jeyne Kassynder. For the early years of her life, Jeyne is a ward of the Azunite Church - a common story for many orphans of unknown parentage. She is raised at a Church school in the eastern city of Bisselberg, the traditional seat of the faith. By all accounts, she excels in her studies and is possessed of certain "divine gifts," though Church records provide no additional details.

1243 PFDungeon Siege 2. The Second Cataclysm devastates the eastern half of the continent. Greilyn Isle sinks beneath the sea, and the coast of Ehb is struck by a massive tsunami.� Lescanzi travelers report widespread chaos in the east. In the decade that follows, Ehb's borders are assailed by brigands and marauders, but the Legion stands firm, and the kingdom remains intact.

1220 PFDeath of Gloern the dwarf, last of the Heroes of the Seck Resurgence, at the age of 128. He is entombed within the Heroes' Crypt.

1192 PFFollowing the death of Lady Montbarron (aka "The Farmer"), the Heroes' Crypt is constructed in the Rukkenvahl, by the two great Legion families in the valley - the Montbarrons and the Gunderics. The remains of the other deceased Heroes are relocated here, and the Lady Montbarron is laid to rest in the deepest chamber of the Crypt.

In the years that follow, pilgrims begin to ply the road to the Heroes' Crypt, to pay their respects. These pilgrimages are often led by the surviving Heroes, such as Gloern the dwarf and the Azunite sister, Ulora.

1175 PFGoblins begin to excavate the Great Foundry, beneath the streets of Stonebridge. It is completed four years later, providing a source of power for the machines and factories in the city, above.� The completion of the Foundry marks the beginning of the so-called "Goblin Renaissance" in Stonebridge.

1156 PFDeath of King Konreid. His premature demise is blamed upon the torments that he suffered at the hands of the Seck. He is succeeded by his son, Karlyle, who presides over a golden age for the kingdom.

1154 PFKing Konreid signs a treaty with the goblins, granting them full rights as citizens of Ehb.

Most towns and cities are unwilling to accept the goblins, but they are welcomed into Stonebridge by Mayor Rupert Ketzler. Thanks to the wealth and ingenuity of the goblins, Stonebridge grows increasingly prosperous.

1145 PFThe red-haired heroine - commonly known as "The Farmer" - is granted a noble title by King Konreid and becomes the first Lady Montbarron. She is given lands and an estate in the northern valley of Rukkenvahl.

The town of Stonebridge, which was nearly destroyed in the Seck Resurgence, begins to rebuild. The people elect Rupert Ketzler - brother of the Farmer's companion, Rusk Ketzler - as their new mayor.

1144 PFDungeon Siege 1 - The Seck Resurgence. The evil Seck are accidentally released from the Chamber of Stars, and they raise an army of beasts to wreak vengeance upon the 10th Legion and the people of Ehb. But a red-haired farm-girl gathers a band of heroes to oppose them. She confronts the demigod-king of the Seck and slays him, ending the war and saving the kingdom.

1080 PFAffair of the Goblin Pretender. The traitorous Grand Mage, Olvis, manipulates the simple-minded Prince Edvard and seizes control of western Ehb. Edvard declares himself king of the goblins, and they flock to his banner. The plot is unraveled by Olvis's former apprentice, Merik, who defeats Olvis and drives the goblins out of Wesrin Cross. Merik is acclaimed as a hero and appointed the new Grand Mage of the Legion.

845 PFThe kingdom of Ehb is founded by the 10th Legion. Elections are held to choose a monarch, and the Legion swears allegiance to the new king and his descendants.

839 PFFollowing the War of Legions, the 10th Legion returns to Ehb and defeats the evil Seck, who had taken control of Ehb in their absence. The surviving Seck - including their demigod-king - are imprisoned in the Chamber of Stars.

Giocai e rigiocai il primo Dungeon per una decina di volte...era S-P-E-T-T-A-C-O-L-A-R-E !! (per il 2000 )...Chris Taylor un grande...

Poi il 2 ha perso un po' del primo Dungeon...ma rimane cmq un bel gioco...il mio lvl max è stato il 73...poi no so perchè rifacendolo non ho mai superato questo livello...

Ho giocato pure a l'espansione del 2 ..con la Deluxe Edition...

In realtà il gioco è previsto, più o meno, per la fine di marzo.
Questo capitolo non ha nulla dei precedenti, Chris Taylor è solo un consulente ora, ed il gioco è sviluppato da Obsidian.
Niente più party, al max un compagno, ma possibilità di giocare in coop.
Insomma, una rivoluzione.

pare che questo DDIII sia molto diverso dai primi due e dal primo in particolare... molto piu' "consolare"... se risulterà vero resta in scaffale!!!

Sarà una via di mezzo fra gli action jappo e diablo.
C'è solo da sperare che obsidian non faccia il solito pessimo lavoro di telecamera e bug e che non abbiano la brillante idea di farlo uscire nello stesso periodo di Diablo 3.

Avrei preferito un H&S con party proprio in stile Dungeon siege, tuttavia... se Obsidia farà un buon lavoro... mi giocherò volentieri anche questo DS3 così come appare ora.
Conto sul fatto che Obsidian inserisca una narrazione degna di questo nome, vero tallone d'Achille per quasi tutti gli H&S.
Conto anche in un level design vario e su mob sempre diversi da affrontare con tattiche diverse.

....Prima o poi qualcuno di questi giochi uscirà..

Comunque Dungeon Siege è stato il primo gioco che ho fatto in assoluto....e dieci anni fa il Regno di Ehb era fantastico speriamo lo sarà ancora....

Hai visto i Deathspank su Steam? Il primo l'ho provato ma non riesco a continuarlo a causa del poco tempo a disposizione e del fatto che sto rigiocando per l'ennesima volta a Company of Heroes

La storia è decisamente migliore, come da tradizione Obsidian (Interplay e Black Isle). Cosa intendete invece per stampo giapponese? Non lo è...

Anche se fosse, è un gioco completamente diverso, da Diablo e dalle precedenti incarnazioni.
