Lettore mp3 Sony NW-E003 e Sonic stage

Ciao a tutti... sono un nuovo utente con un "problemino" che spero mi possiate a aiutare a risolvere! Ho ricevuto in regalo un lettore mp3 Sony NW-E003 e naturalmente per poterlo usare ho dovuto installare il FANTASTICO Sonic stage! Il problema è che ogni volta che cerco di aprirlo mi dice: Si è verificato un errore in Omgjbox.exe.L'applicazione verrà chiusa(manco poi l'avesse aperta!!!
Ho provato a installare e disinstallare più volte! Ho provato anche con la versione 4.0 presa dal sito della Sony (la mia sul cd è la 3.4), ma niente!Ho Windows Xp professional e ho provato su un altro pc (non mio) è funziona tutto!AIUTOOOOOOOOOOO! ma non esiste un altro programma che abbia le stesse funzioni di Sonic Stage, che sia gratuito e compatibile con i lettori mp3 Sony? Io ho visto un certo "Music Player" ma non ne sono sicura e tra l'altro non riesco a fare il download dal sito!

se no ci può essere un problema con un aggiornamento di windows.

avevo il tuo stesso problema risolto completamente .

Per non usare sonic stage c'è un programmino per Sony Vaio, che dicono che funziona perfettamente, scusa non ho un link da darti . Ma se cerchi in internet trovi di sicuro una soluzione che purtroppo non c'è per i MD

e buona fortuna e che sia con te, ne hai molto bisogno.

Anche io ho un lettore Sony NW-E003 e l'uso di questo oggetto non è privo di problemi.
Innanzi tutto non è un lettore mp3 ma un ATRAC DEVICE, ovvero utilizza un sistema di compressione proprietario della Sony per cui gli mp3 devono essere caricati nel lettore solo attraverso il software SONIC STAGE. Gli mp3 non vengono convertiti in atrac ma se si cercano all'interno del lettore non si trovano semplicemente perchè vengono comunque codificati con un altro nome e estensione. Un file wav viene prima convertito in Atrac e poi caricato nel lettore.
La qualità dell'oggetto è indiscutibile, ma il software che lo gestisce è estremamente invasivo e va in conflitto con qualunque altro software per la gestione di file audio, ivi compreso il Windows Media Player sia in versione 9 che 10 o altri prodotti Sony precedentemente installati.
Non parlo poi dell'acquisizione diretta di traccie audio direttamente da Cdaudio originali, un procedimento talmente lento da scoraggiare chiunque, quando Adobe Audition converte in wav un intero cd musicale in 4/5 minuti.
Sul sito della Sony, ma in lingua inglese, questi problemi sono largamente esposti e quindi noti.
Non conosco altri software che gestiscano il lettore.
In conclusione il Sony NW-003 è un ottimo lettore per qualità di riproduzione, ma scomodo da usare e da gestire, non fosse altro perchè necessita di un pc appresso per essere ricaricato.
Spero che qualcuno voglia suggerire link o altro per meglio risolvere questi problemi.

Using SonicStage with an OpenMG compliant program simultaneously
Do not run SonicStage and an OpenMG compliant program (that is, a program that can play back or manage OpenMG or OpenMG Audio format files) simultaneously. Doing so may corrupt the music files on the hard disk, devices, or media.

Using SonicStage with any other programs simultaneously
While importing tracks from an audio CD with SonicStage, do not run any other programs that can play back audio CDs. Doing so may cause the importing to fail.
While playback is in progress, do not run any other programs. Doing so may cause sound skips to occur.
While writing tracks from My Library to a CD-R/CD-RW disc, do not run any other programs. Doing so may cause the writing to fail.
Cautions about performing simultaneous operations
Depending on the performance of your computer, sound skips may occur when a track is played back during a transfer operation. Sound skips or noise may also occur if a track is played back under the following conditions:

While a CD is being imported
While another program is in use
During the display of complex graphics data
During extended hard disk accesses
During any other operation that places a heavy load on the CPU In such a case, perform these operations one at a time.
Cautions about importing audio CDs
Importing of audio CDs may not be possible with certain CD/DVD-ROM drives and/or device drivers.
If the track to be imported is short, then it may not be imported properly.
Cautions about connecting/disconnecting CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives
Do not connect/disconnect (or dock/undock) your computer's CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive while SonicStage is running, as this may damage the drive and/or your computer.

Quit SonicStage first, then connect or disconnect the drive, and start SonicStage again.

Cautions about the SonicStage installation environment
If more than one operating system is installed on your computer, install SonicStage under only one of the operating systems. Installing SonicStage under more than one operating system may corrupt the music data on your computer.

Cautions about using SonicStage when logged on to a Limited user account
To have access to all the functions of SonicStage, log on to an account with Administrator or Power User privileges before using the program. (When using SonicStage under Windows XP Home Edition, log on to an account with computer administrator privileges.)

Cautions about using SonicStage Backup Tool
To use SonicStage Backup Tool, you must log on to the same user account as the one used when running SonicStage.
Depending on your system software environment, backup of SonicStage data to external devices/media, such as CD-Rs, may not be performed correctly due to limits on the number of characters allowed in folder and file names.
Cautions about system hibernation and system standby
Do not put your computer into hibernation or on standby while SonicStage is performing an operation. In particular, do not put your computer into hibernation or on standby during CD and file importing or transfer operations, as this may corrupt the music data and cause the computer to not come out of standby or hibernation properly.

While the above operations are being performed, the System Hibernate and System Standby timers (only for ACPI compatible systems) are turned off. Even if the time interval set in the timers is exceeded, the system will, in most cases, not go into hibernation or on standby (this also depends on the system environment).

Be sure to monitor the battery indicator if you are running your computer on battery power.

Cautions about importing music files
SonicStage may not properly play back some variable bit rate MP3 files. In addition, SonicStage may not be able to convert some fixed bit rate MP3 files to OpenMG Audio (ATRAC) format.

Cautions about SonicStage operations during playback of a track by another OpenMG compliant program
The following SonicStage operations cannot be performed when a track is being played back by another OpenMG compliant program on the same computer:
Playing tracks
Editing track titles
Deleting tracks
Moving music files
Dividing or combining tracks
Transferring tracks
Writing to a CD-R/CD-RW
Backup/restore of music data using SonicStage Backup Tool is also not available under the above playback conditions.
Cautions about using SonicStage and another program simultaneously
CD importing with SonicStage may not run properly if performed while another CD player program is running.

Using another program while SonicStage is playing back a track may cause sound skips.

Cautions about SonicStage installation and music database folders
Do not modify the contents of the SonicStage installation folder or the music database folder with a program such as Windows Explorer.

Do not change the drive letter of the disk drive that contains the above folders.

Cautions when creating audio CDs
If a track title contains the "\" character, then this character is removed when the track is written to CD.

Cautions when purchasing music from the Internet
If you shutdown or logoff of Windows while a music download is in progress, the song might not be saved properly to SonicStage.

Salve a tutti! Giorni fa ho ordinato un lettore MP3 Sony NWE003FV.cew, dovrebbe arrivare tramite corriere.
Leggendo i vostri topic mi sono un po' preoccupato, spero possiate delucidarmi su un dubbio in particolare.
Per mezzo della porta USB flash posso immagazzinare qualsiasi tipo di dati? O soltanto file musicali?. Soprattutto, solamente da PC dotati di software SONIC STAGE?... La mia intenzione era quella di acquistare un prodotto che supportasse congiuntamente le funzionalità di un normale lettore mp3, radio fm e penna, attraverso la quale scaricare dispense di un professore x fare un esempio...

salve a tutti.
Ho comprato ieri il lettore Sony NW-S203F Nero (a breve, se avrò tempo, farò anche una recensione). Ho cominciato a "smanettarci" (ottime funzionalità ) ma l'ho collegato la prima volta al pc tramite la porta USB ho notato con tristezza che gli mp3 non possono essere dragAndDroppati direttamente nel lettore...bene...ho pensato quindi che era necessario l'uso obbligatorio di Sonic Stage. Ma io non volevo installarlo. Quindi usando gugol ho trovato un sito www.atraclife.com dove è presente un utilissimo forum con una sezione (questa) nella quale ho trovato il link ad un software (questo) che nonostante sia per il modello E00x funziona egregiamente anche per i modelli 20x.
L'ho installato (è stand-alone, un solo file exe) direttamente sul lettore e finora non ho avuto problemi. L'unico dubbio che rimane (e non solo a me ma anche a molti altri utenti) è che quando trasferisco gli mp3 con qualsiasi bitrate (320 ad esempio) sul lettore poi appare che ne ha "solo" 128...non vorrei che riencodasse la canzone...

Cmq ve lo consiglio...poi chi vuole avere un programma + completo (tipo Itunes), beh...sonicstage è quello che fa per voi

sonicstage > itunes ... certo però il supporto ai formati audio è limitatino [niente flac e ogg] ... cmq nn c'è problema per usare un lettore sony come drive usb è solo per la sincronizzazione della musica ...

p.s. che diamine fai ? passi gli mp3 sul lettore ... convertili piuttosto al volo in atrac3 ... certo non è l'ogg però sempre meglio dell'mp3 è [ma credo hai letto la mia rece]

Grazie 100000000 a Lupin per la dritta, quel software è proprio quello che mi serviva (a morte SonicStage!! ).
A proposito dell'NW-E003, ho notato che trasferendo i files dal mio PC, dotato di USB1, dà spesso errori di scrittura e a volte addirittura il drive viene rilevato come staccato durante la copia... col bel risultato che poi alcuni files risultano corrotti e non ascoltabili. C'è forse qualche problema di incompatibilità con l'USB1? ho provato sul portatile di mio padre (che invece ha USB2) ed è andato tutto liscio come l'olio...

allora... i lettori sony di cui parlate non li ho usati, mi riferisco al problema di mandar tutto in atrac(anke il mio nwa 1200 li riproduce ma anche gli mp3!). Ho risolto parte dei problemini di lentezzascaricando dal sito sony-> download il sonic 4.2. ora va anke su un pc col 98 che ho in giro..
per rippare un cd me lo fa in 7 minuti, non tanto meno del nero, e si arrangia(non sempre) per i titoli e simili. si insomma provate le varie impiostazioni...e provate gli atrac3 suonano tanto bene!

guarda prova così.. metti in pausa e attiva l'hold. il mio(che non è il tuo ma sempre un Sony) così si spegne e rimane con l'hold attivo, non posso fare altrimenti se voglio evitare le accesioni casuali!

nessun problema con l'usb1.io uso sonic stage 4.2 su un portatile da 64 mb di ram e solo usb1.e va.piano ma va, no errori. la versione precendente si impallava di continuo, prova.

per trasferire al lettore musica da sentire con il lettore dev iusare i programmi apposta.per usarlo come disco esterno e trasferirci quello che ci sta basta collegarlo a un pc, magari un xp(sul 98 ci volgiono i driver).e va

grande funziona!grazie,non ci sarei mai arrivato,certo che nel manuale non si accenna appunto a "come spegnere il lettore",molto strano...per il sonic stage io uso la 4.3 che dal sito sony risulta l'ultima versione e non è cosi' male,solo s'impalla qiando cerco le copertine dei cd su internet con gracenote,il bello è che con la 3.4(che era sul cd allegato al lettore)non si impallava...vabbè.

Mi è stata regalata una pennetta mp3 della sony, e devo installare il relativo programma per poter trasferire i file mp3 e ascoltarli (cosa molto strana), fatto sta che non riesco a installare il programma: Sonic Stage. la procedura di installazione termina ma non viene installato niente. l'ho anche scaricato ma nisba! aiutatemi! Ho windows Sp2!!
