Consiglio per sostituzione HDD quasi morto

Ciao a tutti, come da titolo ho da poco "quasi" resuscitato un Seagate 7200.11 500GB affetto dal BSY error.
L'ho ripristinato ma qualsiasi Windows me lo rileva dopo qualche minuto e successivamente mi chiede di formattarlo. Tramite Linux e il software testDisk riesco a leggerlo e in questo modo mi sono fatto un backup dei dati importanti. Ogni tanto però in questa fase si bloccava non trovandomi la partizione e dovevo continuare manualmente.

Cosa mi consigliate di acquistare? Ho già un WD Green da 2TB ormai quasi del tutto pieno e devo riversare i quasi 500GB di dati importanti che avevo sul Seagate.
Avevo pensato ad un altro WD Green 2TB oppure da 3TB, vado bene? Mi servono per stoccare dati importanti quali documenti e foto

Nonostante i Western Digital siano molto affidabili, i green non li reputano tali, almeno nel loro ambito di uso
