pc-bsd e sound driver per intel 82801fb
Come da titolo qualcuno ha qualche suggerimento per un newbie di questo OS che ha un laptop acer?

allora adesso dai questo comando da root:
# kldload snd_driver questo ti caricherà il tuo driver, dopodichè darai di nuovo il comandi di prima $ cat /dev/sndstat che ti rivelerà qual'è il driver. Fatto ciò, con un editor a piacere aprirai il file /boot/loader.conf e li in basso verso la fine del file c'è il tuo driver in corrispondenza del quale dovrai cambiare "NO" con "YES"tutto chiaro? ![]() ciao |

ho fatto come mi hai detto ma mi risponde al primo comando:
kldload: can't load snd_driver: file exist quindi al secondo mi risponde lo stesso di ieri sera. Forse ti potrebbe essere d'aiuto il messaggio che mi da quando avvia KDE: Sound server informational message: Error while initializing the sound driver: device /dev/dsp can't opened (no such file or directory) The sound server will continue, using the null output device. Scusa per la rottura ma sono proprio ai primissimi passi e non so davvero trovare alcuna soluzione da solo. Ciao Carlo

![]() Per quanto riguarda i sistemi Bsd, ho usato ed uso spesso FreeBSD che è il sistema da cui deriva Pc-BSD. Quest'ultimo l'ho provato alla versione 0.8. e mi ha stupito per la facilità d'installazione ed uso a prova di newby, molto automatizzato, ma con differenze di gestione diverse da Freebsd. Quindi proviamo a vedere ma non ti aspettare la soluzione con certezza ![]() prova a dare il comando dmesg ed a postarne l'output |

Non vedo riferimenti alla scheda audio nel dmesg

pciconf -lv In ogni caso se non sbaglio per quella scheda audio dovrebbe servire il driver snd_ich, per cui prova a scrivere da una shell di root Codice:
