Recensione del processore Intel Celeron 566 Mhz, basato su Core del tipo Coppermine e dotato del supporto alle istruzioni SSE; noto anche con il nome di Celeron 2, questo processore utilizza un processo produttivo a 0.18 micron e integra al suo interno la cache L2, in quantità di 128 Kbytes e oeprante alla frequenza di clock. E' stata valutata anche l'overcloccabilità di questa cpu, con benchmark sino a 850 Mhz di clock (con bus a 100 Mhz).

The Lightscape Visualization System from Discreet Logic represents a new generation of computer graphics technology that combines proprietary radiosity algorithms with a physically based lighting interface.

There are four tests specified by the viewset that represent the most common operations performed by the Lightscape Visualization System.

Le prestazioni della cpu AMD Athlon sono a metà strada tra quelle delle due versioni di cpu Intel Pentium III Coppermine, a 100 Mhz e a 133 Mhz di bus; il divario tra Athlon e Coppermine è però abbastanza limitato, soprattutto considerando che la versione a 100 Mhz di bus è sensibilmente più lenta di quella a 133 Mhz di bus.
