Weekly CPU & Video Card Price

Anandtech ha pubblicato la guida settimanale ai prezzi dei processori e delle schede video, disponibile a questo indirizzo. Da segnalare l'introduzione nei listini delle cpu Intel Pentium IV a 1.4 e 1.5 Ghz:
The Intel Pentium 4 has dropped to its suggested retailing price as soon as Pentium 4 reviews started to pop up around the net. Intel claims that each Pentium 4 will be bundled with two sticks of 64MB RDRAM (PC800), but this does not apply to OEM CPUs. Anyhow, a price drop of over $150 for the 1.4GHz part, and $250 for the 1.5GHz part is expected since vendors that attempted to jump the gun on the Pentium 4 release were obviously overcharging for the processors.
The time to upgrade to a 1GHz Pentium 3 is now for many people, and a price drop of $12 only makes it sweeter. If having a top of the line CPU is not your way to be, we reserved the lower priced best buy models for you. This week they are the 850MHz (100MHz FSB) and the 866MHz (133MHz FSB) parts, depending on whether or not you have a motherboard that can support the 133MHz FSB. You can go even lower with the 700MHz (100MHz FSB) and the 733MHz (133MHz FSB) CPU's, which won't burn a hole in your wallet.
