Ho creato dei mostri... Comunque non vi libererete di me così facilmente. In attesa di Nba2k11 ho firmato un contratto di un mese e mezzo con History Channell che ri-trasmetterà tutte le 7 Finals giocate dal Barbatrucco. Si comincia tra qualche giorno con garauno tra Los Angeles Lakers e Miami Heat, seconda stagione del Primo 2kMondo.

Dopo un periodo di pausa causa mancanza ADSL eccovi il mio super riepilogo delle ultime 9 partite dei miei nuovi Dallas Mavericks!

Sotto il segno di Dirk!

In successione incontriamo Raptors, Rockets, Spurs e T'Wolves, E FINALMENTE C'E' COESIONE!
Le partite sono incredibilmente tutte punto a punto: pazzesche le trasferte di SanAntonio e Minnesota dove in un'ATNT Center gremito per il derby texano, dopo una battaglia all'ultimo sangue (con parziali ad alternanza +9 DAL, +12 SA, +8 DAL, +5 SA) con 3.4 da giocare nell'overtime e con gli Spurs sopra di uno Rondo (il più in ombra del quintetto) si inventa una giocata epica (Rondo Layup winner ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPFO3B5WITA) che ammutolisce l'arena: trionfiamo 113-112, ma che derby! (Nowitzki chiude una partita fantastica con 34pts, 7reb, 6ass e 3stl, mentre dall'altra parte colpisce un grande James Anderson che con i suoi 21 oscura "gli altri tre").
I T'Wolves ci costringono ad una partita totalmente di rimonta, soprattutto nell'ultimo quarto quando a 3 minuti e qualcosa dal termine sono sopra di 9..ma Rondo (layup e successivamente fallo subito con allegato 1/2 dalla lunetta) ci porta in parità a 12 secondi dal termine! Il TimeOut del T'Coach non sortisce alcun effetto, jumper di Beasley (fino ad allora dalla media stratosferico con 32 punti in 3 quarti), primo ferro e rimbalzo del Gallo che chiede il TimeOut...la tensione si sente, ma sul 104 pari succede questo:
Nowitzki chiude con 29 punti e 9 rimbalzi, ma l'MVP è tutto di Terry che con il suo "jumper @ the buzzer" ci porta alla vittoria 107-104!
Contro i Raptors si sviluppa una partita strana. Ormai, dopo la partenza di Bosh, la punta di diamante della squadra è Bargnani, seguito da Barbosa. Toronto chiude in vantaggio di 7 il primo quarto e il primo tempo, mentre noi recuperiamo (sempre sotto i colpi del solito Dirk che chiuderà con 28) nel terzo andando all'ultimo mini-break sul +1. Ma poi si va a vincere agilmente, nonostante i 28 punti di Micheal Finley (l'ultimo arrivato via FA): risultato finale 101-96.
Successivamente arrivano altre due sconfitte (PPP come al solito) contro Pistons (119-100 con un Villanueva superstar che ne mette 28-9r, da noi il nostro top scorer è Nowitzki con 17, e questo dice tutto) e Warriors (2 sole vittorie in 12 partite e devono andare a vincere per forza contro di noi! Ma del resto con un Curry da 26-9a non si va lontano; da noi pazzesco Gallo da 15+9stl e il solito Dirkone da 23) e due vittorie contro Bucks (partita combattutissima conclusa 94-87 noi grazie ad un Dirk da 27+8) e Kings (e che vittoria, a 2.3 secondi dalla sirena con un'invenzione del Gallo! 112-111 il finale, Nowitzki ne mette 28)

"Prime due gare e prime due vittorie per i Raptors versione 2012-2013. Prestazioni spettacolari di Wall e Cousins, riunti e in grado di dominare entrambe le gare. Certo Wall è ad un altro livello, ma la coppia gira e l'utilizzo di Cousins come sesto uomo appare un'ottima scelta per ora. Benissimo anche il resto della squadra eccome. Il risultato è due vittorie contro due ottime squadra. Prima contro i Celtics, quest'anno rinforzati con Oden per sopperire le venerande età di Pierce e Garnett. Boston piano piano riesce a portare Toronto ai propri ritmi, ovvero rallentare il gioco. L'ex Raptors, Belinelli, da luglio 2010 ai Celtics, è incisivo nella prima metà di gara. Dopo l'intervallo lungo però non ce né più per nessuno. Toronto mette la marcia alta e spezza i ritmi blandi dei Bostoniani che perdono man mano contatto e crollano poi fisicamente nell'ultimo quarto. Finisce 96-88 con un Bynum incredibile sotto le tabelle con 16 rimbalzi a fine gara. Un settimana dopo arrivano i Blazers. Altro stile di gioco, con ritmi molto simili a quelli preferiti dai Raptors. E' quindi una gara velocissima, con contropiedi, azioni fulminanti, schemi rapidi e un grande atletismo. Roy è una macchina, ma Wall questa volta ha deciso di dominare. Gioca due break fondamentali. Il primi all'inizio del terzo quarto per tenere a bada le mire di Roy, Batum e compagni, il secondo nel quarto periodo dove tira la stoccata definitiva ai Blazers. Finirà la gara con 40 punti, 14 assist e 3 palle rubate. Sensazionale. Ottimo anche Bargnani con 32 punti. Bynum gioca un'altra ottima gara a rimbalzo collezionandone 14. La gara finisce così 126-118 e Toronto parte con un bel 2-0. Ma le novità non finiscono qui. A causa delle vacanze estive la stagione si sposta sul portatile e quindi in Low Quality e soprattutto con una frequenza di partite decisamente minore. Verranno seguite le notizie sul forum delle altre stagioni, ma difficilmente sarà possibile scrivere dei recap. Quindi nel salutare e augurare buone vacanze a tutti, si da appuntamento ai primissimi di settembre per una sintesi delle partite giocate in queste due settimane. La corsa al primo titolo dei Raptors proseguirà anche se in condizioni video precarie. The show must go on..."

Con una squadra senza futuro non ci sono stimoli. Si trattava solo di fare una stagione singola in attesa di Nba2k11. Mi sono accorto subito che non avrebbe funzionato, non c'era alcuna motivazione nel vincere un altro titolo. L'unica motivazione di questo terzo 2kMondo era il Three-peat, mai fatto prima negli altri 2kMondi: non ci si è riusciti. Ad ottobre manca solo un mese e mezzo: na caccola!

giusto cosi' Barbaccio....la tua "tenacia" e' gia' storia, piu' dei tuoi titoli...

Con Houston Partita e video bellissimi...fa niente il risultato...

Con SA , il derby e' sempre derby ..., ma non si puo' vedere il fantasma senza testa e con le calzamaglie total body

So I came into the NBA 2K11 preview with some curiosity about how Visual Concepts would treat the best player of his generation. Would they do anything more beyond the Jordan Challenge? The answer is yes. They’re doing a lot more. In fact, here are fours reasons why having Michael Jordan will make this the best NBA 2K11 in years.



1. Michael Jordan is getting The Beatles: Rock Band treatment. Visual Concepts is pulling out most of the stops in the Jordan Challenges. They have re-created every team and arena in the mode. The old Boston Garden is back, so is Utah Jazz’s John Stockton and Karl Malone combo. Patrick Ewing and John Starks make a return to the game via Michael’s Double Nickel game.
What’s so amazing is the detail the developer put into each of these Challenges. Visual Concepts obviously put a lot of effort into getting everything right such as the 45 on Jordan’s back against the Knicks to the mumbling words that Karl Malone says before he takes his free throws. The announcers even refer to era specific news in each milestone, to make them distinct. The only thing that’s missing are the dead spots on the parquet floor of Boston Garden.

Best of all, Jordan has custom animations for certain achievements within the Challenges. If you hit six three-pointers in the first half of The Shrug game, Jordan will do The Shrug. In the 1991 NBA Finals, he also apparently does the hand-switching-in-midair-that-destroyed-my-childhood shot. Unfortunately, MJ didn’t do any actual motion capture for these moments, but the team does a good job re-creating them. Along with these animations, Jordan also changes in appearance as well. Rookie Jordan has hair and is skinny as hell. Older Jordan has a bald head and in some cases a moustache.

2. You can use the classic teams in the Association Mode. Do you want to play with the 1991 Lakers? I’ll say yes. Well, now you have the opportunity to bring back Vlade, Magic, Perkins and Worthy. If you’re a Knicks fan miffed that you missed out on Lebron James, playing with Ewing, Starks and Oakley isn’t a bad consolation prize. With this, you can even put other rivalries back together like the Isiah Thomas-led Pistons against the Magic-led Lakers.

There’s a lot of players there, but not everyone is represented. Visual Concepts focused on the starters. You probably won’t see many specific bench players on the floor. The 12th man will probably be nondescript, but still, the mind reels at the possibilities, and it’ll definitely be a treat for fans of 1980s and 1990s NBA basketball.



3. After finishing the Jordan Chalenges, you get to use MJ in the Create a Legend mode and put him on any current team. Yes, you heard that right. Do you want to see Jordan on the Heat and create an 82-win team? You can. You could put him on the Lakers and see if Kobe and Jordan could co-exist. I imagine if this happened, there’d be blood all over the court. It’d look like Jason Vorhees visited. There’d be too much machismo and competitiveness. No. 23 could even take the Warriors to their second championship just as long as he isn’t cursed by the injury bug that seems to hover around that team. As for Jordan on the Clippers, I’m not sure even his Airness can pull that team of out of its misery.

The one caveat is that you get Jordan as a rookie when his player rating is at 79. You’ll be able to build him up over time, adding skill points to other parts of his game. You earn skill points by accomplishing in-game challenges or doing drills. Also, in this mode, you only control Jordan and you are graded based on how good of a teammate you are. Setting picks and rebounding will bump up your teammate grade. Turning into a black hole and shooting at every touch probably won’t endear you to teammates.

4. NBA 2K11 features all of Jordan’s shoes and then some. You can’t talk about MJ without mentioning the shoes. The guy popularized $100 sneakers and made certain shoes cool to wear. NBA 2K11 will feature all the Jordans 1 through 23. Overall, there’ll be more than 40 kicks in total. Some of them will be unreleased or haven’t even been shown yet. Best of all, these shoes add modifiers to a player. For example, some will make a player run faster.

For those who want detail, players will even be able to examine every thread and stich close up and read about them in the locker room.

On a separate note, I liked all the Jordan-centric features Visual Concepts added. They do the man justice. But quite frankly, I wish there were more because there are outside moments that I definitely want to play through. For example, what about the epic dunk contest between him and Dominque Wilkins? I’d love to relive that. What about the original Dream Team? You could conceivably re-create it manually. You do have Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in the game along with Patrick Ewing, John Stockton and Karl Malone.

I can’t wait to start experimenting with different line-ups and answering what-if questions when the game comes out Oct. 5.

Il BUS comunque è una cosa molto simpatica che fa ben sperarare in una maggiore cura dei dettagli che mancava nel 2K10... speriamo bene......

Come al solito, con il tempo impiegato per il bus ci fixavano qualcosa di cui andremo a lamentarci appena esce.

Qualcosa che non andrà ci sarà sempre. Anche il giorno che uscirà il gioco perfetto, ci si troverà comunque qualcosa che non va bene. Il bus (che cmq non è solo quello, ho visto altri video dove inquadravano il palas da fuori, prima della gara) è un qualcosa di dettaglio in più che male non fa, tra l'altro mi fa ben sperare per la premiazione finale dopo aver vinto un titolo (magari fanno la parata per le strade, chissà). La gameplay vista da quei 5 minuti di video mi pare eccezionale ed è ovvio che ora ci si limita a quello. Si fa per parlare. Se dovessimo parlare solo quando è stato testato tutto, allora chiudiamo tutti i forum, li riaprimo la prossima estate e stiliamo un giudizio su Nba 2k11 dopo averci giocato tutto l'inverno. Quello che vedo da questi video è ottimo.
