puoi prendere una mb con raid ide già intergrato, oppute compri i convertitori da s.ata a ide.

Ho preso ieri la Gigabyte 7VT600 1394 e in quanto a dotazione mi sembra davvero ottima

, per le prestazioni bisogna vedere un po'...

# Fixed the problem that previous KV7_11 BIOS wrongfully recognize AMD Athlon XP as Duron CPU.
# Changed the option wording of "Boot Device" from "ZIP100" to "ZIP100/250".
# Revised the wording of memory status from "DDR SDRAM at Bank" to "DDR at DIMM" in system configuration table.
# Revised DMI pool data.
# Fixed the issue that the system occasionally hangs at post code 26 if the system is using 133/166 FSB CPU and the power was turned off during boot up procedure when the post code is AE.
# Fixed the issue that the system occasionally hangs at post code 5E when use 200 FSB CPU.
# Added beeping sound from PC speaker when power up the system (POST OK).
# Fine tuned the system performance.
# BIOS Compile date: 9/22/2003.

La Fis2r ha il controller Promise 20378 che suppporta il raid 0,1,0+1 sia con il Sata che con l' IDE.

quindi, il controller Promise si aggiunge, e NON sostituisce il controller SATA implementato nel SB, mantenendo il vantaggio della maggior velocità di transferimento dati assicurato dalla soluzione integrata nel SB, giusto?

Eh, eh,mi stanno passando i dubbi sull'acquisto...
