Better protection, better scanner, less impact
Our focus for Internet Security 2009 mid-cycle update was to provide enhancements in protection, detection and scanning.

This has been achieved through the introduction of next generation sliding signatures*, specifically designed to better cater for the significant numbers of threat variants in the wild. PC Tools' next-gen sliding signatures have also delivered performance improvements to scan time and system impact with a further reduced memory footprint and overall system impact during scanning1. Password protection to safeguard from exposure
Password Protection offers advanced customization to allow you to safeguard against unauthorized parties (users or malware) attempting to change key security settings, exposing your computer and leaving it vulnerable to attack. In particular you now have the ability to password protect changes to the program settings, shutdown and the real-time protection module, IntelliGuard.

No interruptions in full screen mode

PC Tools Firewall Plus 5.0.0.38 il numero di versione è rimasto uguale ma le dimensioni e la data di aggiornamento sono diverse.

Dalla cronologia dovresti riuscire a vedere quali connessioni blocca,una volta individuati quelli riferiti al gioco,sulla riga corrispondente fai click col destro>"aggiungi regola....",naturlamente per tutte le porte che il gioco utlizza.Se non dovessi riuscire a capire quali sono,nella sezione "applicazioni" "attiva la registrazione" per il gioco in questione,cosi nella cronologia ti verrà segnalato col nome preciso.Ciao.

Rispetto ad Avira è sicuramente inferiore, ho visto che è stata presentata la Beta del firewall PC Tools Firewall Plus 6.0.0.66 che non se la cava male, speriamo che esca una nuova versione anche dell'antivirus.

In ogni caso converrai che sono due prodotti diversi, indipendentemente dal fatto che il firewall è il medesimo in quanto integrato nella suite.

Uscita la nuova versione dell'antivirus PC Tools AntiVirus 6.1.0.25 Free.

Ho installato la nuova versione del firewall su un pc appena formattato di fresco.
Quasi ogni volta che spengo il pc, esce un avviso di errore sul modulo fwservice.exe.
Dice qualcosa tipo "la memoria non poteva essere read..." e poi il pc si spegne.
Non vorrei cambiare firewall, ma vedere il pc che crasha quasi sempre non mi piace affatto.
Fra l'altro ho visto sul forum del produttore che altri segnalano questa cosa, ma per ora non ci sono risposte.
Qualche suggerimento ?
