bios originale ATI versione 113-B50701 per HD4870 ottimizzato con RBE :

- corretto bug ' spin-up ' presente sulla gestione ventola

- frequenze e voltaggi NON modificate per non avere problemi di flickering

- ottimizzata gestione turbina ( ventola ) : al fine di avere il minimo rumore ma con temperature in idle sensibilmente piu' basse vedi screenshot )

- controllo temperature in 3D : temperature in full generalmente entro gli 80° con allarme "acustico" dato da ventola al 100% oltre gli 83°

-Versione LOW : ventola in idle al 25% appena udibile temperature sui 60-65° e non 70-75° come da reference con ventola al 22%

-Versione Hi : ventola in idle al 30% leggermente udibile temperature sui 50-55°

p.s: *tutte le temperature sono state testate anche in condizioni di 28° esterni

* consiglio di usare la versione LoW , in caso di allarme acustica (dato dalla turbina al 100%) usare la versione Hi.

Domandina per chi stà usando ATT:

A quanto settate voi il "FLIP QUEUE SIZE"? Sarebbe il corrispondente del parametro Nvidia "Render frames ahead"(non ricordo il nome preciso) settato di default a 3.

Ora ATT come predefinito mette "Indefinito" che si pensa sia cmq pari a 3 come nelle Nvidia. Voi cosa settate per i giochi in cui usate vsync+triple buffering?

... sia il bios Hi che il bios Low , e in special modo quest'ultimo sono stati editati con il fine di ottenere la massima silenziosità rimanendo ampiamente nella specifica termica di funzionamento dell RV770...

il bios Asus una volta passati i 60° porta la turbina al 40% .. e una volta arrivata a 70° la porta al 45% ...

...morale della favola le temperature rimangono basse senza benefici sostanziali mentre la turbina si fà sentire non poco...
