Sei stato gentilissimo! In effetti ho provato con un vecchio ali di un p4... non so se ho fatto una cacchiata perchè il molex è più corto (di 2 piedini...) ma SI E' ACCESO TUTTO!!!!!!!

la cosa strana è che il morto è un MODU82 enermax 650W NUOVISSIMO DI PACCA!!!!
inoltre alimentava la mb almeno per quello che riguarda led e wifi ...
mah!

Magari non interessa a nessuno ma ho fatto una piccola ricerca per capire meglio cosa succede quando abilito / disabilito alcuni parametri del bios:

1) C1E Support
In windows la freq di lavoro del procio è inferiore quando si lavora in idle, una sorta di Cool'n' Quiet

2) CPU TM function
Option affects CPU protection/throttle management to help you when you don’t realize you’re pushing your chip too hard

3) Vanderpool Technology (VT)
is Intel's new virtualization technology which will let computer users to operate separate virtual environments in the same PC. One obvious benefit is to be able to run separate operation systems in a single computer without additional hardware. (This is possible currently, but involves costly hardware manipulations on the Wintel platform). After hyperthreading technology which Intel introduced a couple of years back, VT is another major hardware advance from Intel.

4) Execute Disable Bit
insieme a un sistema operativo compatibile, previene determinate categorie di attacchi nocivi di overflow del buffer.La funzionalità Execute Disable Bit consente al processore di classificare aree in memoria in cui il codice può essere eseguito e altre in cui non può essere eseguito. Quando un worm nocivo tenta di inserire il codice nel buffer, il processore disattiva l'esecuzione di tale codice per impedire danni o la propagazione del worm.

5) Max CPUID Value Limit
In sintesi se si ha un S.O. xp o vista disabilitare...se no la spiegazione:
"When the computer is booted up, the operating system executes the CPUID instruction to identify the processor and its capabilities. Before it can do so, it must first query the processor to find out the highest input value CPUID recognizes. This determines the kind of basic information CPUID can provide the operating system.The maximum CPUID input value determines the values that the operating system can write to the CPUID's EAX register to obtain information about the processor.Intel processors from the Pentium Pro onwards have a maximum CPUID input value of only 02h or 03h. The only exception is the Intel Pentium 4 with Hyper-Threading Technology (HTT).
Older operating systems like Windows 95/98 and Windows Me were released before the Intel Pentium 4 with HTT and are therefore not aware of such a processor. They are not capable of handling the extra CPUID information provided by the processor with EAX input values greater than 03h.
This is where the Max CPUID Value Limit BIOS feature comes in. It allows you to circumvent problems with older operating systems that do not support the Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology.
When enabled, the processor will limit the maximum CPUID input value to 03h when queried, even if the processor supports a higher CPUID input value.
When disabled, the processor will return the actual maximum CPUID input value of the processor when queried.It is recommended that you leave it at the default setting of Disabled. You should only enable it if you intend to use the Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology with an operating system that does not support it.
Please note that this BIOS feature only allows the Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology to work with operating systems that do not support it. It does not enable the processor's advanced capabilities for such operating systems.

6) intel speedstep
questa è un' opzione che riduce il consumo di corrente abbasando la frequenza del procio e il voltaggio quando il sistema è in idle.....

7) memory remap feature
corretto su segnalazione di joker (grazie)
abilita l' utilizzo degli accessi virtuali delle periferiche pci alla ram

8) initiate graphic adapter
stabilisce quale bus controllare per primo dove sia presente la vga.

9) PEG force x1
fa funzionare gli slot pci-e a x1

se ho commesso qualche errore o non sono stato chiaro chiedete pure...spero serva questo piccolo riassunto

se non ho capito male e correggetemi se l'ho fatto se hai un sistema operativo che supporta al massimo 3 giga e tu fisicamente ne hai di piu (esempio 4 giga) allora i giga 'extra' (esempio 1 giga) verra utilizzato dagli accessi virtuali delle periferiche pci

8) initiate graphic adapter
stabilisce quale bus controllare per primo dove sia presente la vga.

9) PEG force x1
fa funzionare gli slot pci-e a x1

se ho commesso qualche errore o non sono stato chiaro chiedete pure...spero serva questo piccolo riassunto

Serve anche con i sistemi a 64bit perché se lo disabiliti è la scheda madre stessa a non vedere più di 3GB.

questa configurazione con gpuz è giusta o notate qualche anomalia il sistema è asus p5e3-cpu e8500-ram ocz 1333mhz-8800gt della gigabyte graphics accelerator. la cosa strana è che riporta 65nm quando la cpu è 45nm o non centra niente?
il bios della scheda video conviene aggiornarlo?

non c'è niente di strano i 65nm dello screen sono riferiti alla scheda video

altra domanda visto che voi siete esperti che consigli mi date per sistemare il bios della asus p5e3,per settarlo normalmente o leggermente aumentato,perchè ho avuto problemi con le ram (ho letto nel forum che questa scheda aumenta il volt delle ram dello 0,06)per metterlo normale quale comando devo usare dal bios?grazie

secondo voi questi valori su una mobo asus p5e3 con ram ocz 1333mhz non sono alti specialmente le dram frequency delle memorie. 556mhz ?

Ciao a tutti, finalmente sto utilizzando il nuovo pc così configurato:

- Asus P5E
- RAM OCZ DDR2 PC2-9200 Flex II 4GB Series 1150Mhz-555
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz con box di default
- 2 x HD SATAII 500GB SEAGATE 32MB messi in rai0
- SVGA GF 9800GTX POV 512MB EXO EDITION

Premetto che nel bios non ho modificato quasi niente (tranne boot, ora e data e config raid) lasciando tutto a default.

Ho alcune domande:

1)- Che voci modificare nel bios per ottimizzare i miei componenti e quindi il SO;

2)- Avevo provato ad installare prima windows xp ed a tal proposito avevo creato il disco dei driver del controller raid. Durante l'installazione ho premuto F6 ed ho messo questo: "Intel(R) ICH9 SATA AHCIController (desktop ICH9R)".. Probabilmente non và selezionato questo in quanto l'installazione di xp mi dava schermate blu in continuazione e non sono riuscito a completare l'installazione.. Poi con windows vista che non necessita driver aggiuntivi, tutto è filao liscio.. Che driver bisogna mettere con XP?

3)- Il mio case ha un connettore interno che mi permette di portare l'audio ed il microfono sul fronte, l'attacco è molto simile a quello delle usb aggiuntive presenti sulla scheda madre, ho la possibilità di utilizzare questa features del case? Dove lo collego? Premetto che utilizzo una scheda audio esterna.

4)- Dove si disattiva l'audio on-board della mb?

5)- La rev. del bios è la 0502, mi consigliate l'upgrade? Con quale?

Per il momento è tutto, spero che qualcuno abbia voglia di rispondermi.

qualcuno ha provato se l'uscita ottica della scheda audio integrata funziona con questo nuovo bios? con il 607 non funziona mentre con il 605 sì.

ragà io ho 1 problema con la p5e xkè ogni volta che alzo il volume del mic con la preamplificazione dp 1 po mi si abbassa automaticamente il volume sempre!!!!!! come posso fare aiutatemi

No non ho fatto nessun test..ho solo letto il valore a destra della sigla dell'hd all'avvio del pc.. quando parte il bios del controller,te non lo vedi?

ma dove lò'hai pèreso? sul sito ufficiale non c'è....comunque l'ho installato e va tutto perfettamente prima avevo il beta 0607.....

All'avvio quando parte l'hdd e lo identifica, anche a te fa il controllo e lo scan di tutti e 15 i canali e poi va avanti il caricamento del SO?
