Ciao!
Avrei bisogno di un aiutino dal forum... Sto cercando di scrivere uno script che configuri automaticamente il parametro del processore durante la configurazione del kernel... MI servirebbe che piu' gente possibile postasse l'output del comando Quote:

Hai ragione quando dici che chi ricompila sa anche dove mettere le mani ma in parte secondo me perche' spesso è necessario aggiungere delle patch al kernel oppure piu' semplicmente l'utente vuole ricompilare solo per il piacere di farlo e non riesce a farlo per la configurazione che magari sbaglia... Invece con un menu di inserimento automatico della patch e uno script che autoconfiguri il kernel direi che è molto piu' semplice... Grazie ancora a tutti!

basta impostare le impo di processore, memoria e includere i moduli per non dover usare l'initrd, poi col tempo chi sa elimina tutte le cose non necessarie.Nello script sarebbe interessante aggiungere anche questo che dici, magari sarebbe da vedere come funzia quello che cè su un sito dove mettendo gli id scovati con lspci ti dice i moduli specifici per le periferiche. magari sarebbe ottimo che nello script ti imposti una configurazione per il kernel standar per un desktop, eliminando per cui tutte le cose non standard, cioè quelle cose per server etc.... e poi lo script completa in bellezza impostando processore, ram e i moduli per le periferiche se ti serve na mano chiedi
