Nero 6 Recode: attenzione a non cancellare tutto c:\

Che bello!!! i programmatori di ahead sono molto svegli! cancellare la directory radice è proprio una ganzata!!!

però! era da rilasciare il primo di aprile questo programma! fico!

A me il problema non si pone, il link per scaricarlo non mi funziona!

che bello, vuoi vedere ora che ahead ci tratta come la microsoft e ci elegge tutti beta tester? ma non sarebbe carino che in simili casi qualcuno gli facesse una bella megacausa così stanno più attenti nella fase di sviluppo?

Nero 6 Recode introduces 'bug' that could wipe hard drive

An Chang used our news submit to tell us that the German online magazine PCwelt.de reports that Nero 6 contains a 'bug' that could delete your entire harddrive. The bug is introduced with the Nero 6 Recode project. Bug might even not be the correct word for it, it seems more that Ahead forgot to limit the feature to empty the destination folder for temporarily files.

If this destination directory is set to the root of a disc (e.g C : ) and if the question: "Destination folder is not empty, do you wish to clear it" is answered with yes, all files will be deleted.


Description (badly translated with Babelfish):

Bug linguistico

Io ho la versione italiana, 6009.
Su Startsmart, il tasto per copiare il disco reca la scritta "COPA disco"
In dialetto veneto, "copa" (verbo "copare" ha valenza di "accoppa" (verbo "accoppare".
Non è di buon augurio per il buon fine della masterizzazione! ;-)

Mamma mia..

...ma come hanno fatto a non accorgersene?!?
Almeno una prova su un PC normale potevano farla (chissà, loro magari i SW li provano su super-PC con 25 Hard Disk, 15 istemi operativi, 13 masterizzatori, etc...).
Vabè... ora che lo sapere nn fatevi fregare!!!
