Notizia già postata da Capitan Crasy, in ogni caso anche secondo the inquirer Gigabyte ha immesso sul mercato una mobo basata sul chipset 790FX.

Sul sito gigabyte non c'è traccia della mobo in questione...chissà come è successa sta cosa.

Secondo il sito tcmagazine AMD avrebbe cambiato nome al chipset RD780 (780X) in 790X!
790X sarà il fratello minore del 790FX, con possibilità al Crossfire in configurazione 2 schede X 8 linee PCI-Express 2.0.
Per ora non si sa esattamente quando verrà presentato questo chipset, ma a quanto pare non dovrebbe essere lanciato in concomitanza con il chipset top level 790FX...

Aspetta aspetta..ricordo che quando sono andato a vedere l'amd solution tour a pd, nel momento in cui è stata mostrata la slide sui futuri chipset (avevo allegato al mio post una foto di tale slide fatta col cell..scarsissima qualità ma di+ nn potevo fare, sorry) mi era sembrato di notare due loghi per il 790, ovvero il 790fx ed il 790x..parlarono solo del 790fx in quanto soluzione al top, ma spiegarono il tutto come se fosse presente un'altra versione di tale chipset.
Ricordo infine di essere rimasto un po' sorpreso dalla presenza di quei due loghi, e su questo thread non ne parlai perchè convinto di aver visto male o di sparare boiate..
Speriamo sia fatta chiarezza e soprattutto che siano reperibili presto sul mercato..

Lo chiedo da mesi, non perché sia meglio l'uno o l'altro, ma visto che mi si dice dappertutto che Vista da il suo meglio (secondo alcuni il suo peggio ) con 4GB di ram allora vorrei vederli su Vista 64, visto che su Vista 32 non è possibile. Senza contare che così come Vista è ormai il presente, così è per i 64bit, rispettivamente rispetto a XP e ai 32.

Ciò detto, credo che sarò il primo su questo thread che avrà modo di provare una mobo am2+, perchè pare ormai confermato che la mia dfi lanparty mi abbia lasciato, e non vale la pena di comprarne un'altra. A questo punto vendo la cpu e la ram, che sono entrambe ottime, e compro mobo am2+, 5000+ black edition e ram ddr2 mettendoci pochi soldi in più.
E poi tra qualche mese, phenom x4

Vi terrò aggiornati, anche se finchè non si trovano le mobo am2+ ho poco da aggiornare...

la 790fx dq6 probabilmente sarà mia quando arriva qua in italia...vedo se comprare 2 gigi di ddr2-1066 insieme alla mobo o se tenermi le ram che ho ora...cmq avrò presto una mobo am2+ anche io
