Sto facendo un po di test, e sembra che singolarmente i banchi funzionano...mentre i problemi sorgono se le metto insieme in dual channel! Qualche idea!! Thanks!!

Le ram che propongono valgono moolto meno delle ballistix... Senza considerare i soldi che si spendono ogni volta per spedire ste caxxo di ddr in RMA....

E' un bel problema si sapeva che alla fine non ce ne sarebbero state più poi EOL.
Io gli risponderei dicendogli che quelle che andranno a darti sono decisamente inferiori a quelle da te in possesso...le Ballistix non te le regalavano.
Prova a chiedere se ti può inviare due o più kit di quelle che ti vorrebbe dare per rimpiazzare le tue Ballistix...almeno o le rivendi e ci fai qualche soldo o tieni 4GiB sul tuo sistema...

Ciao , sono un felice possessore di un paio 2xi giga z503 .
Per adesso le tengo come in signa, pero' vorrei farle salire ancora un pò.
Adesso hanno 2.7 volt e vorrei aumentare a 2.8 pero' da quel che ho letto in giro andrebbero ventilate.
Io ho un con un ben ricircolo, Occorre aggiungere ventoline aggiuntive dedicate alle ram ?

Assurdo comunque che te le cambino con quelle che valgono 1/3... protesta e facci sapere.

Prova a chiedere se ti danno il 2*GB Kit oppure delle DDR2 (ma sempre 2*2GB)!

ThePunisher: I have seen... but, agent, those memories are much less worth... I have paid at least the double for ballistix (and in recent times)
ThePunisher: it isn't for sure a fair replacement.
Agent: We have tried to accommodate this with supplying you with the closest part that we now have available.
Agent: We do not make faster or more expensive DDR RAM.
ThePunisher: Yeah but I can't loose so much value... those are "value" DDR... mine is "enthusiast" one... you should at least give more than 2gb kit...

ThePunisher: they only offer direct warranty (according to state law) just for 24 months... this is already a RMA replacement from you, so accoring to life warranty you are responsible for it.

ThePunisher: I don't think it is all. If you buy a 2*1GB Kit of DDR2-800 Kit and it brokes. Is warranty covered if the shop send you a DDR2-667 Kit instead? I don't think. Moreover, I am sure not.
ThePunisher: I have had several replacement of discountinued product from many companies. OCZ and GeIL for example.
ThePunisher: If the product was discountinued they sent me another agreed product of almost the same value.
Agent: We do not sell any Ballistix DDR modules. So we cannot.
ThePunisher: they also didn't send more of them but from GeIL I received a 2*1GB of value RAM in stead of 4*512 of discountinued enthusiast memory. That was a fair exchange.
Agent: Both equal up to 2GB though.
Agent: We are still giving you 2GB
ThePunisher: Yeah but they had almost the same value.. the memory you would like to send me are worth ONE HALF of what are worth ballistix.

La meglio cosa è rivolgersi a un'associazione di consumatori... spiegare l'accaduto per bene... fornire loro tutte le informazioni e documentazioni e lasciare che si arrangino. Ovviamente più siamo meglio è e sarebbe il caso di essere circa una decina.

I have heard really a bad news. In the meantime that I needed my PC and I
didn't send you my defective Ballistix I heard they have
gone EOL\discontinued, so now you exchange them with these one:

I have your invoice stating my Crucial Ballistix KIT are worth 129.98 GBP
without VAT (and I have attached it, it is dated 2008, so recent and so it
can prove the value at least for 90% of it).
It is not your customer's fault if you discountinue it and he has not to pay
the consequencies (and according to all state laws at least in EU).

So how can you think you would carry out your warranty duty exchanging a
discountinued product with one with a value of ONE-HALF?

This can't be acceptable (and also legal).

- If you can't exchange it with another BALLISTIX KIT (I have paid for,
lifetime warranty included), will you send me TWO of the linked "new" one
Kit seeing that NEITHER with TWO of them we reach the value of what I have paid for?


I am fond of bad assistance. Please show us you are the serious company you
want us to believe.

bhè io spero che risolva la questione anche perchè fino ad ora non hanno fatto storie sul cambio delle ram... le spedivi a loro e te ne mandavano altre... speriamo che ci comunichino delle buone notizie...
