Chi mi può correggere questo testo in inglese?
Good morning my name is diafino and the subject of my presentation today is: the trafficking of human beings concerning sex slavery
I am going to divide my talk into three main points. Firstly I will outline the situation of human traffiking nowadays referred to the sex slavery world. Then I will focus on prostitution describing the phenomenon its causes and cosequences. Finally I will concentrate all my attention on the various kind of strategies through which overcome this problem and the different attitudes of the countries regarding the issue. So first,as we all know human traffiking is a phenomenon which is widespread all over the world, unfortunately, at present it is showing a worldwide increase. trafficking in human beings includes recruiting, harbouring, obtaining, and transporting people by use of force, deception, fraud or intimidation for the purpose of subjecting them to involuntary acts, such as prostitution. Perpetrators may use physical force, debt bondage, abuse, or even force-feeding with drugs to control their victims. nowadays there is significant evidence of an increase in trafficking of women and children for forced prostitution A report by the Protection Project, based at Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland, has documented the rising trends in the sex slave trade An estimated two million women and children are sold into the sex trade every year. More than 15,000 women are trafficked into the United States, many of them young girls from Mexico.. The Thai government reports that 60,000 Thai children have been sold into prostitution. As many as 10,000 children aged between six and 14 are virtually enslaved in brothels in Sri Lanka. The term prostitution refers to the act of having sexual intercourse or performing other sexual acts, explicitly for material compensation normally money, but also other forms of property, including drugs, expensive clothing, jewelery, or real estate Prostitution occurs in many varied and different settings:street prostitution, brothels, escort agencies sex tourism, travellers from rich countries travel to poorer countries such as Thailand looking for sexual services that may be unavailable in their own countries, or simply too expensive there. The world of male prostitutes is more shadowy. They tend to be lone individuals, although many maintain connections with escort services Arrests of male prostitutes and their male partners are on the rise, in part because law enforcement has become more gender-neutral as public acceptance of homosexuality has increased, giving homosexual prostitutes more visibility, The most notorious type of prostitution involves the child prostitute, who has left or been exiled from home, often fleeing sexual abuse or other mistreatment. The AIDS epidemic has made child prostitutes more desirable for customers who incorrectly believe that children are less likely to pass on the disease But how all this can happen? This question brings me to my second point. Many women unknowingly enter the sex trade when they respond to newspaper looking for jobs like waitressing, and nannying. Many women are forced into the sex trade after answering false advertisements and others are simply kidnapped. Thousands of children are sold into the global sex trade every year. Often they are kidnapped or orphaned, and sometimes they are actually sold by their own families. Women enter prostitution for myriad reasons, the fundamental nature of which is controversial. Some argue that prostitutes seek financial gain otherwise unavailable, or that they are pushed into this life because of high unemployment, particularly among minority women. I think is quite important underline that beside exploitation many others are the concequences to prostitution, the main ones are the healt consequences such as drug abuse, violence, and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS The risk for HIV infection is increased because of multiple partners and limited safe sex practices”some customers are willing to pay more for a sexual encounter if they do not have to use a condom. Based on research conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the rate of HIV infection for prostitutes is three times higher if they smoke crack cocaine. Intravenous drug use also increases the risk of HIV infection for a prostitute. Other health issues related to prostitution are early pregnancy for juveniles, rape, tuberculosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, assault, and other acts of violence”including murder. There are also negative consequences besides those related to health issues. In places where it is common, prostitution lowers the value of property. It also degrades the status of women. Finally let’s look at my final point, strategies to solve the problem. what the coordinated strategy for prostitution seek to provide is a framework for communities to tackle street prostitution and all forms of commercial sexual exploitation, through preventative measures; tackling demand; developing routes out for those in prostitution; and ensuring justice by cracking down on groomers, traffickers and other abusers The key objectives of the strategy are : • challenging the view that street prostitution is inevitable • achieving an overall reduction in street prostitution • improving the safety and quality of life of those communities affected by prostitution • reducing all forms of commercial sexual exploitation More in general the possible attitdes are • abolition: "prostitution should be made to disappear" -"prostitution is immoral and prostitutes and their clients should be prosecuted": the prevailing attitude in much of the United States with a few exceptions like Nevada. -"prostitution is a sad reality of exploitation of the prostitutes, especially women, but prostitutes should not be criminalized", the current situation in Turkey. -"the clients of prostitutes exploit the prostitutes": prostitutes are not prosecuted, but their clients and pimps are, which is the current situation in Sweden. -prostitution is legal, but discouraged, while pimping is prohibited, the current situation in the United Kingdom and France among others; • regulation: prostitution may be considered a legitimate business; prostitution and the employment of prostitutes are legal, but regulated (with respect to health etc. concerns); the current situation in the Netherlands, Germany and parts of Nevada. • legalization: "prostitution is a victimless crime, and should be made completely legal so that it is no longer an underground activity, allowing the normal checks and balances of society and existing laws to apply" • decriminalization: "prostitution is labor like any other. Sex industry premises should not be subject to any special regulation or laws" such as in Australia and New Zealand. Proponents of this view often cite instances of government regulation under legalization that they consider intrusive, demeaning, or violent, but feel that criminalization adversely affects sex workers. To recapitulate what i’ve been saying prostitution and human traffiking in general is growing2222" The problem is real for this reason something must be done, too often the prosecution is claimed only because politically advantageous for local politicians and raids are just little more than symbolic gestures. I’d like to conclude by saying that from my point of view banning prostitution is completely counter-productive because it tends to drive it underground, making treatment and monitoring more difficult. Probably regulation is the best alternative attached with the encouragement of safer sex practices, combined with regular testing for sexually transmitted diseases Grazie 1000 |

Sul mio vocabolario, la correzione di un testo così lungo rientra alla voce "lavoro".
Cosa offri in cambio?

Alcune rapide osservazioni:
how can all this happen? Attenzione, il soggetto in inglese ci vuole sempre. I think it is quite important to underline Quote:

In un caso hanno messo pure l'articolo davanti: The aim of the convention is to prevent and combat the trafficking in human beings. Quote:
"the trafficking in human beings": 22,800 results. "the traffic in human beings: 886. |
