FIC ha annunciato la sua nuova motherboard basata sul chipset AMD760, con supporto alle cpu Tbird/Duron con FSB a 200/266Mhz e memorie DDR PC1600/2100. Ecco di seguito parte della press release:

FREMONT, CA, USA--August 28, 2000 --FIC today announced it is offering a new premium motherboard, called the AD11, featuring support for the AMD Athlon™ processor with Double Data Rate, or DDR, memory. AMD Athlon processors in next-generation DDR platforms deliver cutting-edge performance at an affordable price.

"FIC is excited to introduce our newest AMD Athlon™ processor based motherboard, the AD11. The AD11 pairs the incredible performance of the Athlon processor with state of the art DDR memory technology. With the processor's front side bus increased to 266MHz and the DDR memory bus in unison, the AD11 is able to offer outstanding performance." Said Alex Mei, US Marketing Manager, First International Computer, Inc.

The AD11 gives users the additional headroom necessary for not only high-end graphics but also general computer processing. FIC will display the AD11 at the upcoming Comdex 2000.
