GamePC ha pubblicato la recensione della scheda Hercules 3DProphet MX; tale scheda utilizza memoria a un clock leggermente superiore a quello della reference board NVidia, montando infatti chip di memoria a 5,5ns; ciò comporta un leggero aumento del prezzo, ma anche un miglior margine di overcloccabilità e migliori prestazioni, essenso la bandwidth fattore limitante anche nelle schede basate su GeForce2 MX. Being the first retail GeForce2 MX we've tested, it certainly has impressed us thus far. Faster than the reference board, higher-clocked memory, great overclockability, it all adds up to a great overall package. The price tag is a little higher than the competition, which is likely due to the higher cost for Hercules to get the 5.5ns Hyundai memory. If you're willing to pay a few extra bucks, you should be able to get more overclocking ability from this card from the rest of the cards on the market.

We would love to see Hercules introduce a Twin-View based board with DDR-SDRAM, as that would be an incredible Dual-Head professional/gaming card. Although, we've already heard that there will not be DDR-based MX cards on the market, pity. Nevertheless, it looks like the Prophet II MX will be one of the top MX cards on the market, hands down.
