From the benchmarking results you've witnessed and we've performed, we have come to the conclusion that the KT133A chipset is a perfectly sound solution to tide users over until VIA can deliver their DDR SDRAM solution, as the 31% increase in memory bandwidth from the 133Mhz front side bus frequency over the 100Mhz FSB frequency offers a 9-10% performance increase in memory intensive applications and 3D games such as Quake 3. Office productivity/content creation benchmarks will also see a noticeable performance increase equivalent to a higher clocked processor on the 100Mhz FSB, such as we've seen here with the 933Mhz(133 x 7) and 950Mhz(100 x 9.5) TBird. Until the DDR SDRAM solutions currently available to the user can become more financially justifiable, I would highly recommend new system builders a motherboard based on the KT133A chipset for the significant increase in performance at a fraction of the cost it would require to purchase a DDR SDRAM setup
