2. SCSI is more reliable.

In the old days where EIDE PIO mode 4 was used, there were major problems with data integrity and stability. Ultra ATA has relatively allieviated most of these problems but some still exist. On the other hand, SCSI is reliable as long as your cables are correctly maintained and the end device is properly terminated.

3. Access to multiple devices, quickly.

As said before, SCSI can communicate to 7 devices in each channel - but simulataneously. EIDE in general has problems accessing two devices at the same time, the problem shows up in cdrom drives. When using two cdrom drives at once, you may experience some problems, especially a large slowdown in performance. Back with Windows 95, one could only access one drive at a time, otherwise the system would crash and burn. SCSI, up to 160 mb/second, can use that bandwidth to share between a great many deviecs.
