Dissipatore Thermoengine

Quite a wild ride just to get a few temperatures. The Thermoengine V60-4210, stock out of the box, is very comparable to a Thermaltake SuperOrb, Alpha PEP66, or ArctiCooler CA performance-wise. If you intend to use this cooler with the stock fan, you will certainly be purchasing a fine product if our samples represent the actual items on the shelf that you will be seeing most likely in a month or more.

Here is the big question. How much will the Thermoengine cost? I really don't know. If it is in the $20 to $30 range, I would say it would be worth the cost out of the box if the cooler happens to catch your eye. The stock fan is fairly quiet and is not going to be a burden on your ears.

Where the Thermoengine shined like a diamond, was when we pulled out the big CFM 7K RPM fan. Now let me repeat this. If noise is a problem, DO NOT get one of these fans. They can be extremely loud and bothersome. When the Thermoengine was paired with our Global Win high performance fan, both the black and sliver finish Thermoengine HSFs pulled ahead of our latest pack leaders. You will see that the silver HSF lead our WBK38 by 4ºF and the black anodized unit lead by 6ºF. Both of these are very healthy leads, and we did verify our results. I am sure that our Thermoengine HSFs are, hands down, the best air cooled Socket A HSF units money can buy today (within reason), IF you go the extra mile and install your own high performance fan.
