Every time we review a new Abit BX board, we say "this will most likely be Abit's last BX board", but amazingly they keep pumping out BX boards no matter how old the chipset is. Abit has time and time again breathed fresh life into the BX chipset, and while we think this is the last Abit BX board, we're certainly not going to say it's in stone. I'm sure consumers would still be interested in a dual-processor FC-PGA version of the BX-133 RAID, for one, I certainly would.

The BX-133 is simply a great solution for 133-MHz Coppermine processors, especially for those who like the tried-and-true BX chipset. On the other hand, the performance levels between the BX and i815E are getting slimmer and slimmer, and many of the GamePC staff has been mighty impressed with Asus' i815E solution, the CUSL2. The i815E appears like it will be a suitable solution to take over for the aging BX chipset, although we have yet to see the end of BX just yet.
