InnoVISION Multimedia ha annunciato oggi una "nuova" scheda video della serie Ti4800SE con supporto AGP8X, con frequenze operative di 275MHz di core e 550MHz di memoria:

"Hong Kong February 11, 2003 - The leading Graphics Card manufacturer, InnoVISION Multimedia today announced the Inno3D Tornado Geforce4 Ti4800SE AGP 8X Graphics Accelerator Card based on the latest NVIDIA GeForce4GPU (Graphics Processing Units) and AGP 8X technology.

The Inno3D Tornado GeForce4 Ti4800 AGP 8X DDR Graphics Card features the advanced nfiniteFXT II engine, AGP 8X (AGP 3.0 specification) and GPU (Graphic Processor Unit) from NVIDIA. The doubling bandwidth, from 1.1GB/s (AGP 4x) to 2.1 GB/s (AGP 8X), enables more complex models, richer textures and impressed lifelike environment.

Certo che il nome Tornado potevano riservarselo per la produzione di geforce Fx...con quel sistema di raffreddamento mai termine è più azzeccato...

la 4800 se è una 4400 con supporto agp 8x, le 4600 con lo stesso supporto son semplicemente le 4800

beh, a sto punto meglio continuare cmq a puntare sulle GF4 piuttosto che sulla FX, sono sempre delle ottime schede.
