Il motivo? Perché tengo staccato il router a meno che non sia in casa e non a letto (quindi anche se sono a lavorare è spento) dal 2004, passando da adsl a fibra, cambiando almeno 4 router diversi (3 forniti da TIM) e non se n'è mai rotto uno, se non forse l'ultimo che non si spegneva più dal suo tastino (da anni), ma andava bene, e il tecnico me lo ha cambiato quando son venuti a fixare un guasto in centralina condominio. E mai avuto reali problemi di rete se non 2/3 volte in 20 anni per guasti esterni. E questo è vero per qualsiasi dispositivo, se non sono in casa va solo il frigo, quindi PC, console, tv, monitor, ecc



Ho la fibra cablata davanti al cancello di casa in montagna, ma non pago io... quindi tengo adsl 20mega a spinta...

ah ok se non paghi tu..ci sta allora..se uno fa smart working io vedo la fibra come un investimento ANCHE lavorativo..

Io faccio smart working, ma basta e avanza la adsl 20mega (certo non devo scaricare nulla nel mentre, oppure uso il telefono per lavorare se devo scaricare per forza).

La fibra per mia esperienza serve solo per streammare 4k/HDR e contemporaneamente fare altro, se no sempre visto 4k con adsl, o scaricare in poco tempo giochi da 100GB
Non vedo altre necessita di andare 100mega, figurati 1giga come vanno alcuni o come è il progetto pnrr : Italia a 1giga... oddio in una famiglia con 3-4 componenti ha senso forse... non per me da singolo.

Per anni poi in montagna avevo zona tv/console/pc lontana dal router TIM, quindi ne avevo preso uno scarso wifi, dopo anni e anni mi son deciso a collegare pc via cavo e usare powerline per televisore e console, e m'è bastato quello perché DAZN ad esempio non avesse più cali di definizione... alla fine se non scarico giochi, internet praticamente la uso per guardare sport (o ogni tanto Prime, che mo' mi mettono pure la pubblicità... e a quel punto allora conviene la tv ) e per navigazione

E' molto più impattante. Ancche cavalcare un pal fuoco invece che ghiaccio cambia di molto la lancetta delle temperatura ora .
Avevo messo dei falò a fianco delle uova e ora quando ci vado vicino c'è troppo caldo, rispetto a prima

Eh io ammetto di aver perso un po' odore di Pal ultimamente

Ah io non lo tocco da tipo un mese abbondante, ho fatto altro e c'è sempre NMS (uscito l'update Orbital), ho finito su Xbox AC Russia, Hydrophobia, Bioshock 2 Remastered che sto rigiocando su PC in hard, sto finendo Saints Row The Third su PC, facendo le fazioni a Starfield... poi mi son preso una PS5+Edge per il gioco con la gnocca koreana, ma avendo preso e mai giocato su PS4 Pro Horizon ZD e TloU Remastered stavo facendo il primo, poi mi manca finirlo in permadeath per platinare NMS dopo averlo millato su Xbox e Steam, quindi ho parecchia carne al fuoco

Però cavoli questo update è roba a livello di NMS... se vanno in questa direzione diventa un giocone.
