Alla fine patteggerenno e nessuno dei 2 dovrà dar nulla all'altro.

Il problema è che continuando con questi brevetti così generici si rischia il blocco dell'innovazione e del progresso.

Che, ironicamente, dovrebbe proprio essere ciò che i brevetti idealmente dovrebbero preservare.

Perfettamente d'accordo. Andrebbero ripensati in modo da tutelare la ricerca, ma resi meno generici per evitare i patent-troll.
E inoltre IMO alcuni brevetti per cose che diventanto di uso comune dovrebbero avere una scadenza e, comunque, prevedere dei sistemi che consentano a tutti di usufruirne pagando una royality (si scrive così?) onesta.
