Provato con un'ups, apparentemente sembrava andasse bene, al terzo riavvio lo stesso problema
Le uniche cose che non abbiamo provato sono il monitor la tastiera e il mouse, ma potrebbero davvero fare questo?

Comunque 215v sono pochini,ovviamente a diversità di 230-240 volt gli si bruceranno poco le lampadine,ma magari l'alimentatore non lavora bene..
Visto che siamo nell'impossibile potrebbe essere quello.

Grande Robert lavori all'FBI? cmq si di suo utilizza solo il monitor mouse e tastiera ps2.
Allora diciamo che non voglio cantar vittoria, ma sembra proprio che sia il monitor, perchè questo pomeriggio ne ha provato un'altro ebbene il problema non si è più ripresentato, coincidenza? ma è possibile che un monitor tramite scheda video possa provocare una cosa del genere? è la prima volta che mi capita, fatto sta che il parente non mi ha chiamato certo che è vero, non si può dare mai niente per scontato

L'alimentatore è stato una delle prime cose che ho provato, cmq 215V sono nella norma mi hanno detto

the problem most likely is caused by the driver. Also, depending on the Monitor type, you may have to adjust the Resolution, Refresh Rate, and possibly the Acceleration settings.

When you exchanged Monitors, you should have navigated to the Device Manager and checked if the correct Monitor was detected. It is very possible that there were two Monitors in the list, confusing the Operating System.

Cmq sai che non c'avevo pensato? io ho un monitor LCD da 17'' mentre lui un CRT da 17, non so se la cambiava la risoluzione e gli altri parametri quando se lo portava a casa... glielo devo chiedere
Però mo succede un'altra cosa strana (come se non bastasse) da quando ha cambiato il monitor il S.O. parte sempre senza problemi, ma casualmente (o se lo tiene qualche ora spento) si resetta il bios ma poi riparte regolarmente con F2.
Cambiai pure la batteria a suo tempo, cmq qualcosa è cambiato, XP parte sempre, ma mò che significa sto fatto del bios? può essere proprio il bios ad essere corrotto e provocare problemi? Scusatemi ma non ho mai perso tanto tempo con un PC

La batteria è nuova, nessun overclocking tutto a default, vcore fsb e moltiplicatore ti ripeto tutto a default.
Mi ha detto il parente che da stamattina il bios si è resettato solo una volta, a questo punto un'upgrade del bios potrebbe essere la soluzione, che ne dici Robert?

Beh è preistoria una ECS k7S5A all'epoca un'ottima scheda, credo che abbia ancora un vecchio bios on board, è l'occasione per l'upgrade sperando che si sia corrotto quello che c'è ora

Allora, flashato l'ultimo bios, sembra che fino ad ora sia tutto ok, ma non canto vittoria visto i precedenti

By the way, I am not happy today because last nigth, our Dallas Cowboys football team lost to those bustards New York Giants 17-21 and so we are out Super Bowl XLII
