secondo voi quanto tempo prima si potra' prescaricare da steam?
la mia connessione e' piuttosto lenta e dovro' anche scaricarlo su due pc diversi ergo spero di avere almeno una settimana di tempo. gia' che ci sono ho un'altra domanda : io ci giochero' principalmente da un pc fisso ma sicuramente anche da portatile (pausa pranzo al lavoro e nei rientri in italia, il prossimo proprio pochi giorni dopo il lancio), i pg si aggiorneranno in automatico tramite steam o dovro' spostarmi i salvataggi tutte le volte?

Per i salvataggi non è così semplice: il gioco supporta Steam Cloud? Se sì in teoria si aggiorneranno in automatico, ma va sempre aggiunta l'incognita degli eventuali mod che potrebbero rendere salvataggi tra giochi con differenti mod incompatibili. |

sul forum dicono che diranno la data d'uscita in maniera "ufficiale" domani...effettivamente anche su steam c'è ancora scritto "summer 2012"

"It's been nearly 3 years since Torchlight has been released. What is the most influential event during Torchlight 2's development?" Travis: "For me it was the beta. Just watching people playing the game and seeing how they react to what we were doing, that was pretty huge for us." "If Torchlight 2 managed to become a big hit do you think you can handle the large influx of people?" Travis: "We're hoping that we don't have much to worry about. The way the game is built, it's a little simpler than a game where all the game logic is run on the server. We mostly run a lobby and connect people together. So in case our lobby goes down you can keep playing along." Max: "I hope we have so many people that it breaks things." "What about private servers?" Travis: "This is something that gets requested a lot but we really can't commit to it before the game is out. We'll just have to answer this at a later time." "After you're done with Torchlight, what kind of game would you guys like to make next?" Travis: "I'm interested in trying something new. We're all interested in exploring some other options at some point..." "What's the advantage of having a smaller team?" Travis: "I wouldn't want to work in any other way! We all get to work together and everybody is there because they are passionate about making games. When you know that, as you're working on a game, people are going to see your fingerprints on it and you're not just 'the guy who made the tree'... it's really rewarding." Max: "We all work in one open space and everyone is directly involved and passionate about what we're making." "Given that the original Diablo started off modelled on a rogue-like game and ended up defining an entire genre - where would you like the RPG genre to go next and what would you classify as 'the next level'?" Max: "I think there's still a lot to do in the RPG genre - there are so many variants that you can do, that haven't been done yet. People don't realise that these are actually pretty hard games to make. The simplicity of playing them belies the complexity of making them. That's why you don't get so many entries to the genre very often, but with modern tools and technology, I think that's changing. It's becoming a much more managable task."
