Non ho idea, però la Nokia è lanciatissima nell'open-source (lo so per questioni di lavoro) i tablet 770 e 880 hanno software open-source, e cuore linux.
Magari in futuro...

Strano, dovrebbe essere supportata...la X550 ha la stessa GPU della mia X300...

Prova a dare questo comando:

lspci | grep X550

e incolla qui il risultato...

però se faccio solo lspci mi trova la scheda video..

E' un po di volte che il mio ubuntu si inchioda.
Lo schermo sembra che diventi nero per una frazione piccolissima di secondo (perde di luminosità) e poi come ricompare l'immagine, rimane tutto bloccato.
Ho provato a premere ctrl+alt+backspace, ma non si è riavviato il gdm.
Unico modo per riavviare è premendo alt+Rsist+ (in sequenza) R-E-I-S-U-B.

Ma veniamo ai log.

Prima davo colpa a beryl. Poi mi sembrava colpa di amsn presa da svn. Adesso è crashato così dopo aver aperto google earth....

In alternativa rimetti "vesa" e dopo devi installare i driver proprietari di Ati e XGL, se vuoi usare Beryl o Compiz...hai Kubuntu o Ubuntu ?

Problema Firefox + screensaver

Ragazzi ma a voi Firefox non crasha mai?
A me spesso si freeza e lo devo riavviare ...............................


Altro problema: c'è uno screensaver .. quello con i centri concentrici colorati che ogni volta che si attiva il PC si addormenta e ci va parecchio prima che si riprenda .. a voi no?

Ho provato ma niente. non è che devo cambiare oltre al tipo di driver, anche l'ID del PCI? boh, mi sto arrampicando sugli specchi...

Fatto, ma mi crasha
al riavvio mi dà sempre la solita menata di schermata.
Adesso mi scarico la versione 32bit e poi la metto su. vediamo se esplode tutto o cosa

Driver NVIDIA

finalmente ho risolto quasi del tutto l'installazione dei driver NVIDIA , pensavo fosse + facile con Debian tempo fa mi era andata meglio
comunque sia ho risolto con abilitazione e risoluzione riconfigurando Xorg da riga di comendo una procedura che avevo usato , ma che pensavo non fosse necessaria avendo installato tutto con synaptic.
Rimane solo il problema della profondità colore che fa schifo pur essendo settata x default a 24 bit
da che può dipendere ? dai driver o da qualcosa che mi manca ? ho provato anche a reinstallare i driver da riga di comando .... a meno che non siano i driver stessi ad essere sbagliati
sul sito NVIDIA x la mi GeForce 3 ti 200 danno i 1..0-9639-pkg1.run mentre su synaptic c'è 1,0-9631.
l'ho anche scarictao ma non riesco a lanciarlo col comando sudo sh NVIDIA_Linux-x86-1.0-9639-ppkg1.run chissò perchè
io intanto provo a capire da solo , ma se a qualcuno venisse una idea ...........

Allora, riguardo il desktop remoto da fuori ho risolto aprendo una porta sul router.

driver nvidia

niente da fare cone i driver di default nv sono a 1024x768 anzichè 1280x1024 , ma i colori sono normali se installo i driver nvidia succede il finimondo e salta il sever X .
ho finito le idee ciononostante ricomincio da zero x essere sicuro al 100% e sono sempre in attesa di lumi sull'accaduto,,,,, ah non è che è x via della scheda video che non è + supportata ? eppure dal sito nvidia lo risulterebbe ancora

ho installato kubuntu 7.04 su un pc con mobo Asrock dual-vsta 939 (chip ULi) e ATI X800.

Se Lo faccio partire normalmente mi va il monitor in standby dopo pochi attimi di caricamento. Se parto in modalità recovery e do startx mi va tutto bene. Tanto che l'ho anche riconfigurato x lo schermo da 19".

Faccio ripartire e niente da fare.

Ho un tragico problema col pc della mia ragazza. La sceda audio integrata ha di punto in bianco smesso di funzionare; credo sia un problema hardware.
Così, assuefatto alla facilità del mio mac, ho pensato bene di disattivarla dal bios, di prendere una vecchia scheda audio PCI e di sbatterla nel pc.
Nessun suono all'avvio.

Poco male, mi dico, posso usare alsaconf.. Che su ubuntu però NON C'E'!!!

Va bene, cerco di capire cosa succede, e scopro che:

Come cavolo posso fare a installare la scheda? Come si installa una scheda audio su ubuntu quano non è già presente alla prima installazione della distro?

Ho fiducia in voi.. salvatemi.. Non possiamo neanche più usare skype!!

Ciao ragazzi , dispongo di muletto (vecchio P3 866) attrezzato con GNU-Linux Ubuntu : sino ad ora tutto ok e grandi soddisfazioni..
Il mio problema è questo ho comperato un HD SATA da 250 gb e lo sempre utilizzato sull'altro Pc con WIN , adesso ho deciso di utilizzarlo con Linux e per fornire il mio sistema del Hd di cui scrivo ho comperato un controller SATA PCI (Via VT6421A) ; ho installato il tutto ma riscontro che il sistema riconosce il controller ma del HD neanche l'ombra...
Come posso risolvere questa situazione...?Il problema può esser dovuto al fatto che questi controller SATA sono contemporaneamente controller RAID ?In tal caso come configuro la modalità RAID?
Vi ringrazio sin da ora....

Potrebbe anche essere...ma ci devi installare Ubuntu oppure l'hai già installato e vuoi vedere l'hd ?
