abit nf7-s 2.0: boot da serial ata (richiesta chiarimento)

Non lavora con gli HD E I CDROM

What's up with those? Serillel 1 & 2? It says v2 works with all MB's, doesn't v1? Wich v. do you get with NF7-S? Which should I get?

My NF7-S came with a Serillel 1. the major differences seem to be the bridge chip (Marvell in v1), and v1 does not work well with ATA133 devices, or ATAPI devices (CD roms)

Well according to the box my Serillel2 came in the features are:

1) Silicon Image Sil3611 PATA to SATA Bridge
2) Supports Hot plugging *
3) Supports ATA Hard drives at ATA 100, and ATA 133
4) Supports ATAPI devices (CDROM, DVD ROM, CDRW etc.) *
5) Supports ATAPI Boot Device *

* (Compatible with SATA controller of Silcon Image on motherboard only)

I am running my RAID 0 with one Serillel1 and one Serillel2.. (I ordered another 1, but Newegg sent the 2) I cannot tell a difference with my setup.

I had ordered Seriell 1 from Newegg.com, but they sent me the 2 version

Rieccomi...un po' + felice di prima

Dopo 2 giorni di smanettamenti (con "commenti" verbali del caso ) sono riuscito ad isolare il problema...è l'HD...!!
L'ho riportato indietro oggi, spero che il sostituto arrivi presto...

Ringrazio tutti coloro che mi hanno supportato con consigli e con pazienza e che mi hanno davvero aiutato in tutti i modi possiibli.
Di positivo c'è che da questa esperienza ho tratto un bel po' di informazioni sulla mobo in questione, sui pregi e i difetti di driver-bios e su altri piccoli accorgimenti.
