Ragazzi ma fatemi capire:

la banda 2,5ghz e 5ghz sono autonome ? Nel senso che se sto facendo streaming wifi su rete locale, se, per dire, un PC trasferisce un file alla massima velocità in 2,5 ghz (sempre in locale, intendo) e un TV sta vedendo un film però sfruttando la banda 5ghz, i due "cozzano" in qualche modo ? O è come se si trattasse di due router diversi (potenza del processore a parte) ?

Altra domanda:

ho notato che, stranamente, se sto facendo streaming via SAMBA o DLNA, qualora dovesse scollegarsi il segnale ADSL (lucina del "mondo" che va via), i contenuti si bloccano. Questo me l'ha fatto più volte sia con una WD TV LIVE, sia con un Sony...ma cosa c'entra il protocollo samba/dlna con la connessione internet ? Secondo me l'Asus si impalla un po' e non fa più vedere nulla...capita anche a voi ? Infatti spesso mi appare "contenuti multimediali non disponibili" e non mi vede proprio più l'Asus connesso in rete. Strano.

mi risulta siano due bande separate.
sulla velocita effettiva ottenibile ho forti dubbi sia di 300 mb
putroppo il procio la fa da padrone ( e non è un fulmine di guerra ) ma comunque dovrebbe essere sufficiente


sulla questione adsl e contenuti samba dlna: avevo sollevato anche io il problema.
è un vero mistero.
non ho altri router per fare dei paragoni ma comunque mi rimane difficile capire il perche fare un resync adsl blocchi tutto il router.

è un peccato che non si aggiorni la prima pagina con i problemi che affliggono questo router (che ha tanti pregi ... ma anche tanti difetti ) ; cio permetterebbe una piu serena scelta all'acquisto.

di fatto sono entrato in contatto con un d1 che pare essere un bel po meglio del nostro beneamato.
il mio amico che lo ha preso , purtroppo, non ne fa un uso intensivo quindi fino a che non glielo porto via approfittando di un suo periodo di vacanza non potro sapere se alcuni aspetti negatifi delle nostre versioni siano stati risolti;auspico proprio di si.

inoltre ho provato sia con ip dinamico sia fisso ma niente,anche se credo che qui è meglio se mi dite voi perchè non so bene cosa mettere in ip fisso e gataway.

ho un modem fastweb classico pirelli, devo tenerlo e metterlo in cascata o si puo sostituire?

Acquistato l'ASUS N55UD1. Mi trovo soddisfatto per ciò che riguarda Wi-Fi, firmware e Ping (che si è ridotto da 13 a 9ms) ma sono deluso per ciò che riguarda la portante. Sono passato da 16700kbps del technicolor Telecom schifoso a 15600kbps dell'ASUS come è possibile? Ho aggiornato il modem alla versione 1.1.0.4 ma non è cambiato nulla. Soluzioni? Provando con lo Stability se lo imposto su 3db aggancia la portante ma la spia internet non si illumina. Help!

Vorrei poter entrare nel mio router anche quando non sono in casa, ho provato ad attivare il servizio DDNS di Asus ma non riesco a collegarmi da fuori casa, devo abilitare qualche porta, ho già cercato in rete ma non ho trovato niente che mi possa aiutare.

Feedback positivo per la stampante usb collegata al router. Stampante multifunzione Epson RX585, installati i driver di stampa e per lo scanner su 2 PC, installato il programmino ASUS e stampante configurata. Funziona sia la stampa che lo scanner in wifi. Bello

Puoi dare un'occhiata qui e qui.
Anche se i modem sono diversi da quello di Asus, buona parte delle voci sono simili.
Se il wizard di Asus non dovesse funzionare, almeno hai la possibilità di configurare manualmente la maggior parte delle impostazioni.

ok grazie, l'unica cosa che non ho fatto nella guida asus è verificare Modulazione DSL: Auto Sync-Up , non so se in automatica è spuntata o no.

Qualcuno ha impostato regole firewall utilizzando il parametro "Ora del giorno per abilitare il filtro LAN a WAN:" ?
Ho delle anomalie che non riesco a spiegare.

Buongiorno a tutti.

Ho bisogno del vostro aiuto perche' non so piu' dove sbattere la testa.

Premessa: tutto andava benissimo finche' ho cambiato casa, stesso comune ma centrale diversa. Da un mese sia io che Telecom non sappiamo come risolvere le continue disconnessioni.
L'impianto di casa e' nuovo e ricontrollato 3 volte dall'elettricista. La Telecom ha rifatto la linea dall'armadio al pozzino davanti casa (qui c'e' una giunta ben protetta ma comunque soggetta ad infiltrazioni acqua). Ho cambiato 3/4 filtri. Ho flashato vari firmware sempre seguendo la guida. Ho provato pure a permutare il doppino nell'armadio pensando fosse un problema appunto di permuta.

Vi do' un po' di dati sulla linea:
ADSL telecom 7 mega;
distanza armadio centrale circa 1,5 Km;
distanza armadio casa mia 70 metri;
seguendo l'autoconfigurazione guidata del modem ho i valori standard:

Che sia il modem? Sebbene prima del trasloco (quindi vecchia centrale) andava come un orologio svizzero?

Quando ho avuto casi di disconnessioni continue i tecnici notarono che la colpa era del doppino rovinato che dalla chiostrina arrivava in casa, ed avevo valori eccellenti.

Intanto grazie della risposta.

Pero' considera che:
la tratta dall'armadio al pozzino fuori il mio cancello e' stata rifatta nuova 1 mese fa perche' telecom allora dava la colpa al doppino andato;
nel pozzino c'e' la giunta della tratta che va dentro casa: doppino nuovo steso a novembre come l'impianto di casa.

ultimamente sto visualizzando un po' troppo spesso questa schermata, mi capita anche 2-3 volte al giorno



i sintomi sono questi solitamente, per 1-2 minuti la connessione internet diventa lentissima, quasi inesistente, se provo a visualizzare qualcosa con chrome ad esempio, questo resta bloccato sulla schermata di caricamento ... windows in questa fase, nella barra delle applicazioni, mi mostra ancora "connesso ad internet" e pure sul router tutte le spie sono normalmente accese
dopo un paio di minuti però, i led adsl/internet dell'N55 si spengono e si apre una nuova scheda di chrome con il messaggio di cui sopra, con windows che si accorge dell'assenza di connessione
poi in un altro minuto, tempo di riagganciare la linea (come quando si spegne/accende il router), tutto torna normale
ho già provato a resettare il router e riconfigurarlo, ma non è cambiato niente

come posso fare a capire se è l'N55 che si impalla per i fatti suoi o l'adsl che salta ?

Lo ha fatto anche a me oggi per la prima volta da quando ce l'ho (circa 2 anni).
Si è spenta la luce dell'adsl ma quella della portante era ok. Spento e poi riacceso ora sembra andare

Non potrai più usarlo come modem, ma solo come router in cascata e ti consiglio di farlo dato che il modem di TIM ha un firmware indegno.
