netgear wg311v3 e fastweb
dopo aver provato per un pomeriggio intero, mi arrendo e vi chiedo aiuto..
ho fastweb da un pò e ieri ho comprato una scheda di rete netgear wg311v3 per il pc fisso (windows xp): ho installato i driver e tutto, la scheda si connette (mi viene assegnato l'ip e tutto) ma, quando vado ad aprire le pagine internet, è come se non fosse connessa.. ho provato sia con firefox che con internet explorer, ho provato a pingare il router e non ottengo risposta, ho provato ad impostare a mano ip gateway ecc ecc, ho provato a connettermi ad un'altra rete wifi (non fastweb) e funzionava tutto.. non so più cosa fare! il pc portatile è regolarmente connesso alla rete wifi fastweb, oltretutto! ora il problema quale potrebbe essere? non so più dove sbattere la testa!!

domanda molto importante:
ti colleghi in wireless all'HAG, cioè l'HAG Fastweb è anche wireless? Oppure all'HAG è collegato un Access Point oppure un router WAN wireless?

no l'HAG fastweb è anche wireless (e il portatile ci si collega regolarmente)!

non ho norton nè zone alarm, ho il nod32.. ho l'antivirus di windows attivato però (provo adesso a levarlo)..
tral'altro sul fisso ho sostanzialmente gli stessi programmi che ho sul portatile e, oltretutto, con l'altra rete wifi (quella non fastweb) le pagine internet andavano.. sarà fastweb che mi odia!  non so più cosa provare!! edit: niente da fare neanche con il firewall disattivato, non funziona neanche il ping al router! si intendevo l'HAG fastweb scusa..
si ho spento tutti gli altri e riavviato pc fisso e HAG.. e no, neanche disattivando il nod32 ottengo alcun risultato..

prova a forzare SOLO i DNS sul TCP/IP della scheda wireless:
29.253.128.10 29.253.128.11 se non va prova poi questi: 208.67.220.220 4.2.2.4 prova prima quelli di Fastweb( 29.253.128.10 29.253.128.11 ) mi raccomando, IP in automatico, metti SOLO i DNS

 ho dovuto mettere gli altri DNS che mi hai dato (non quelli di fastweb) però! ma, ora voglio capire, PERCHE' così funziona? grazie mille per la pazienza intanto!!
