SharkyExtreme ha pubblicato, a questo indirizzo, la Weekly Cpu Price, guida settimanale ai prezzi dei processori Intel e AMD. I prezzi sono sostanzialmente rimasti alineati sui valori della scorsa settimana, anche se si assiste ad alcuni ribassi per le cpu Athlon di frequenza più elevata:
It's been a while, but AMD's high-end Thunderbirds are starting to dip in price once again. Non-Thunderbird Athlon processors have continued their slow upwards price trend, but we are not at all concerned. If you are considering speed, longevity, and an overall smart buy then you will want to stay away from the Slot A variations and upgrade to a shiny new Socket A system, complete with a very affordable Thunderbird. Oh, and did we mention those are dropping in price this week as well? It must be your lucky day.

Thunderbird processors designed to run on a 266MHz bus are expected to show up this week to the great joy of KT133A and AMD 760-based motherboard owners everywhere. They are a little more pricey than the 200MHz versions, but should offer a bit more performance as well.
