Leadtek Winfast GTS

The Leadtek WinFast GeForce2 GTS is a hell of a card. From outstanding gaming performance, to flawless DVD playback, this card has everything you could want, for a price that won't make you have to change your underwear. The only feature I didn't get to test on this card was the S-Video out capabilities. I don't have a TV with S-Video inputs, sue me, I'm a college student.

If I did have one bone to pick with this card it would have to be the pusillanimous fan that is supplied. The design of the fan is a great idea. It sits inside the heatsink of the card, much like the fan on the popular "orb" type heatsinks. The problem is, this fan is no 8000 rpm monster. The included fan is limited by the fact that it is locally powered, you can only suck so much juice through an AGP port.I was so disgusted with the fan, I removed it, and replaced it with an old CPU fan I had.

In conclusion, I would recommend this card to anyone looking for an all around gaming solution, with room to tweak and tug. Its great DVD software bundle, along with the comparatively moderate pricetag make this a quality addition to anyone's gaming or everyday usage rig. I have had very few problems with this card to this day and I can't imagine that anyone else would either.
