Overall I would have to say that the OCZ coolers are very good for the price, and the Monster II is significantly quieter than the FOP-38. So to sum it all up, the Quad Cooler gives you the most bang for your buck, while the OCZ Monster II gives you the same amount of performance as the FOP-38, without the noise, the trouble installing it, or the Fan Grill. The prices for these are about 30 for the Quad, 25 for the Monster, and 25 (on pricewatch) for the FOP-38. If you own the FOP-38, you may just want to give the Quad Cooler a try…especially if you want to save on hearing aid bills as you grow older.
