Router netgear rp614 ed e-mail notification

Scrivo perchè non riesco ad utilizzare una funzione messa a disposizione dal mio netgear rp614v2: la e-mail notification.

Ho abilitato il filtro per le parole, ogni volta che un utente collegato al router ricerca un sito o un indirizzo internet che contiene una delle parole vietate dovrebbe partire una mail al mio indirizzo inserito. Ma questo non accade!

Ho una collegamento fastweb flat, allego le pagine di configurazione delle impostazioni del router.

Qualcuno può aiutarmi pleasee?!?

E-mail Help

Alerts can be sent when someone on your LAN (Local Area Network) tries to visit a blocked site. Logs are lists of all the URLs that have been visited. If you'd like to have alerts and logs sent to you by e-mail, fill out the settings on this form.

You can always check the logs manually by viewing the Logs page. If you don't want to receive e-mails, leave the boxes blank.

To receive alerts and logs by e-mail:

1. Select the Turn E-mail Notification On check box.
2. In the Outgoing Mail Server box, type the outgoing SMTP mail server of your ISP (for example, mail.myISP.com).
If you leave this box blank, no alerts or logs will be sent to you.
Tip: You used this information when you set up your e-mail program. If you can't remember it, check the settings in your e-mail program.
3. In the E-mail Address box, type an e-mail address to have alerts and logs sent to you or someone else.
Use a full e-mail address (for example, [email protected]).
4. If you want an e-mail alert sent whenever someone on your network tries to connect to a blocked URL, select the Send Alert Immediately check box.
5. If you don't want logs sent, select None from the first list in the Send Logs According To This Schedule area.

If you want logs sent, select one of the other options.
* If you selected Weekly, then select which day of the week.
* If you selected Weekly or Daily, select the time of day for the e-mail to be sent.
* Select the local time zone.
6. Click Apply to have your changes take effect.

Subject Line: The subject line of your email Log or Alert can be customized with the Log Subject Line and Alert Subject Line boxes.
Tip: Use a descriptive subject line. (For example, E-mail Alert from my home router).


"From" and "Reply to" address: Some E-mail servers require different addresses in the "From" and "To" fields. Your "From" E-mail address can be customized with the "Use this address" box.


Authentication Some SMTP servers such as Yahoo Mail requires username and password authentication. Use your E-mail account name or Yahoo ID and password.
