Per fortuna, Sinofsky ha già preso di petto la cosa:

Bugs that are so severe as to require immediate patches and attention would have to have no workarounds and would generally be such that a large set of people would run across them in the normal course of using their PC.

Dear Network Monitor Connects Users:

We wanted to send you a short update with details of some of the news concerning Network Monitor 3.3 since our release.

Updated Parsers:

As you probably already know, we release new parsers on CodePlex every month. In these updates we've included updates for Windows 7 protocols. We also have support for Remote Windows Sockets (RWS) which is used to proxy TCP and UDP traffic from Winsock applications. Check out this blog for more information.

We post all the source code for the parsers, and you are free to look at the code, file bugs, request we take your parser code etc. This is a fully open-source parser project!

New Experts:

TCP Analyzer - TCP Analyzer lets you view TCP traffic visually and determine performance issues. This blog has more information.

Top Users - Top Users is an expert that lets you view the heaviest talkers on your network. This allows you to get a high level view and narrow down on machines that could be expectedly consume network bandwidth.

If you would like to create your own expert feel free to contacts us for information. http://nmexperts.codeplex.com has more details on how to submit a project for consideration.

New Public Forums:

The forums on Connect are normally for supporting our betas, though we'll answer any question you have. Ho scritto drammatizza, senza la S Sinofsky diceva che era bello vedere tutta questa drammatizzazione riguardo a questo "bug critico", ma che secondo lui non c'è da preoccuparsi.

Di preoccuparsi c'è lo stesso, e facciano sta patch.

Ma guarda, la Xonar non la conosco ma è Asus, ergo in fatto di driver non c'è molto da stare allegri.
Per il resto di abbordabile a livello casalingo ci sono Creative o Azuntech.
Nel caso della prima i driver funzionano (io ho le cuffie 5.1 e con i file MKV o le tracce AC3 non ho nessun problema), nel caso della seconda sempre degli stessi driver si tratta perchè il chip è quello di Creative, cambia solo la componentistica di qualità migliore.
Non è sicuramente un campo che offre molta scelta, se prendi la X-Fi Platinum hai comunque anche l'opzione del digitale.

C'è solo da dire che non mi ricordo per quale motivo ma con Seven ho trovato alcuni problemi con Ac3Filter, quando ancora lo usavo.

Mi dici il nome preciso di una scheda audio a tuo avviso valida (mi serve per i film ac3/dts in container mkv, roba del genere)? possibilmente pc-e (nel caso della creative di riferivi alla x-fi pc-e platinum)?

/edit: l'Intel X25 non è quello con il recentissimo bug? Comunque dicci di più, quanti GB, il prezzo, tempi di avvio, prestazioni. Sono curioso, sto sondando anche io il mercato.

basta che cerchi fra le news, se imposti la pwd dal bios e cambi sistema l'hd non viene riconosciuto piu'...o una cosa del genere; cerca fra le news di qeusto sito o tomshw o pctuner ciao!
