This demo allows you to record your best replays to AVI files. Please use
"Xpand Rally SP
Demo Record AVI" shortcut from the start menu to run the game with record
replay to AVI
file option. In replay menu after the race you will have “Save replay to AVI
file” icon
available.

I Minimum system requirements:
Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
P III/AMD Athlon processor with 1.3 GHz
256 MB RAM
Video card with 64 MB, compatible with DX 8.0 (GeForce 3 or ATI Radeon 9200)
Sound card DX 8.0 compatible
500 MB of free space on hard drive
DirectX 9.0b

III INSTALLATION

To install Xpand Rally SP Demo:
1. Double mouse-click "Xpand Rally SP Demo" executable.
2. Choose destination folder and click "ok" button.

IV DEFAULT KEY SETTINGS

Accelerate – up
Brake – down
Turn left – left arrow
Turn right – right arrow
Gear up – A
Gear down – Z
Hand brake – space
Camera – F1
Road lights – L
Respawn - R

You may also check wheel default options in controllers menu (choose options,
then controllers) to configure your driving wheel (change dead zone,
saturation, axis and buttons).


V XPAND RALLY SAFE MODE

The safe mode should be used when the game won't run on a your machine - it
alters the default settings to lower settings and turns EAX off, this will then
allow you to boot up the game and tweak the options for your machine.


VI GAME PERFORMACE

If the framerate of your game seems to be low, try lowering some of the video
or audio settings to rectify the problem.
Please check if turning off tapes physics will help to improve framerate on
your machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why doesn't the game start?
A: Make sure there is DirectX 9.0b installed on your computer. If not, you can
download it from http://www.microsoft.com.
A: Check the BIOS settings if the AGP Fast Write Control is set to Disabled and
the Graphics Aperture Size is set to Minimum 64MB.

Q: Why is an error message displayed while executing the game?
A: Make sure you have the latest video/audio/motherboard drivers on your
computer.
They are usually available for download from the vendor's website.
Check this sites for Video card drivers:

www.ati.com for ATI drivers (we recommend Catalyst 4.7 or higher)
www.nvidia.com for nVidia drivers (we recommend ForceWare 61.76 or higher)


VIII KNOWN COMPATIBILITY ISSUES

In all cases check you have installed the latest drivers from your hardware
manufacturer's website.
Please note that video cards that do not support T&L in hardware do not fully
meet the games minimum spec and will therefore suffer performance issues.

-GeForce 4 MX 440
On some PC's with this card you may experience problems with slowdown, if this
is the case try lowering the detail levels in the options to improve things.

Devi stare in piedi su una gamba, toccandoti il naso col mignolo della mano sinistra e tenendo l'alluce della gamba che non tocca terra con la mano destra. A questo punto devi intonare un canto rituale uzbekistano e fare tre giri su te stesso saltellando sulla gamba. Se avrai svolto correttamente questa procedura e la tua scheda li supporta, si attiveranno i pixel shader 2.0

Dopo vari tentativi ci sono riuscito, ma penso di aver fatto male la procedura, qui è tutto come prima

Bho, la parte multiplayer non sono riuscita a testarla nel beta testing per mancanza di giocatori...alla fine solo 120 su 600 beta testers hanno postato nel forum, è mancato un pò l'interesse o per le ferie o per la fisica che nn ha convinto molti....
Cmq ben venga sta demo "open to all", così si può vedere quant'è bello giocare in multi, finora non l'ho potuta provare questa sensazione in Xpand!

Si attivano da se.
Comunque ad esempio in FarCry devi impostare l'illuminazione su Molto Alto per poter vederli, altrimenti il gioco ripiega sui 1.1

Cavolo, ma il gioco è completamente privo di licenze, anche per le macchine. Hanno tutte nomi inventati ! Quindi presumo che non saranno esattamente uguali alle controparti reali .

L'utilizzo dell'Open Dynamics Engine all'interno del gioco ha permesso ai programmatori di assegnare un elevato numero di variabili (coefficienti di frizione, l'elasticità, ecc.) a tutti gli oggetti del tracciato in modo che ciascuno di essi possa influenzare in maniera diversa l'urto con la macchin, in funzione ovviamente della velocità del mezzo e dell'angolo di incidenza. Le tipologie di danni presenti sono sostanzialmente quattro:

* danni lievi, graffi alla carrozzeria causati da urti laterali contro oggetti leggeri come segnali stradali e altro

* danneggiamento della carrozzeria della vettura tra cui:
o parziale o completo distaccamento dei paraurti anteriore e posteriore
o parziale o completo distaccamento degli spoiler
o rottura di vetri, appendici aerodinamiche, tetto, specchietti
o parziale o completo distaccamento di porte e minigonne
o rottura dei tergicristalli

* danni a sospensioni e freni che possono causare:
o rottura e conseguente perdita di pneumatici
o danno alle molle e ai damper
o danno alle barre stabilizzatrici
o rottura dei freni di ruote su assi differenti

* rottura del motore e del sistema di trasmissione:

Anche per me l'attesa è tosta. Sinceramente di Doom 3 non me ne frega più di tanto, lo cambierei volentieri con le demo di Richard Burns Rally (5 agosto su pc gamers) e di Expand Rally.
