Autenticazione PAP/CHAP

Sono ad un passo dal fare andare il modem...

Mentre avvio la connessione con kppp mi da questi errori:

The pppd daemon died unexpectedly!
Exit status: 1
The remote system is required to authenticate itself
but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to use to do so.
(None of the available passwords would let it use an IP address.)

Il modem "suona" quindi quello è a posto....

Il file /etc/ppp/chap-secrets è vuoto mentre il file /etc/ppp/pap-secrets è il seguente:

Non so se serve saperlo, comunque sto usando debian...

ad un certo punto trovi una riga con scritto

auth

la devi commentare cosi

#auth

dovrebbe andare
