Autenticazione PAP/CHAP
Sono ad un passo dal fare andare il modem...
Mentre avvio la connessione con kppp mi da questi errori: The pppd daemon died unexpectedly! Exit status: 1 The remote system is required to authenticate itself but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to use to do so. (None of the available passwords would let it use an IP address.) Il modem "suona" quindi quello è a posto.... ------------------------ log della connessione: ATZ OK ATM1L1 OK ATDT0547421010 CONNECT 49333 V42bis ------------------------- Il file /etc/ppp/chap-secrets è vuoto mentre il file /etc/ppp/pap-secrets è il seguente: # Every regular user can use PPP and has to use passwords from /etc/passwd * hostname "" * # UserIDs that cannot use PPP at all. Check your /etc/passwd and add any # other accounts that should not be able to use pppd! guest hostname "*" - master hostname "*" - root hostname "*" - support hostname "*" - stats hostname "*" - ------------------------------- Cosa devo fare?? |
