[VB] ProgressBar tra 2 Database .... PROBLEMONE!!!

Ho 2 Database,

1)Excel 2000 ed e'carico di 6000 righe di dati,
1)SQL Server 2000 ed e' vuoto,

voglio trasferire i dati da Excel a SQL Server,

voglio applicare una ProgressBar a tale processo, uno dei metodi che ho pensato e:

valore minimo-->0
valore massimo-->totale righe da trasferire
progressione--->riga attuale che sto trasferendo

Questo e' la mia ProgressBar (codice preso direttamente nella guida del Visual Studio .NET):

Come posso fare per aggangiarla al processo di trasferimento dei dati ???
